About YMCA

The Staunton-Augusta YMCA is a great place to workout with plenty of available equipment. It offers a wide range of activities including a swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms, a hot tub, weights, exercise equipment, and squash and basketball courts. The facilities are always clean. Membership is affordable and includes access to on-site childcare. The staff and volunteers are friendly, helpful, and kind. While swim lanes can be very hard to get, the YMCA provides valuable services and is a great choice.

    Best gym in the area, drove all the way from Lexington all summer to come to this one for the sauna, but does give the around the bare minimum. Front desk staff were lovely. The fact YMCA closes the saunas with the pool when there is thunder did ruin my night a few times, but the staff was nice enough I couldn't be too... read full comment
