Very nice property, With parking for RV storage, behind a passcode electric fenced in area. Plenty of lockers also. My only negative opinion is the layout, Almost collided with my parents trying to find the exit.

This is our first month and I should have looked at the little dip just in front of the door. When it rains hard it enters. I had just put my wife's new dresser and a fairly new fireplace entertainment center and it's not good. I don't believe I can do anything about it, so I have just about got our apartment in and we are just going to pray about getting out quick ! Most of the storage units are not like this area. I'm not going to post a picture. I will however show the owners and that should lead to others not having this problem, cause it's not a good feeling !

Good affordable prices, many different storage sizes, easy to get in and out. You can also buy a lock from a machine if you don't have one.

Were having a very bad experience with this place they allowed someone that did not have permission to open a unit fraudulently in my husband’s name they refused to help us but they did give us pictures who did open it ! Now they’re wanting us to pay for it even though they did not require a photo ID, and The person that did it did not have permission to do so ! So I guess they don’t care about who they rent too ? !

We chose this storage facility for its location and because it appears to be well maintained and secure. However starting out it has just been a bad experience...My father paid at the entrance for a unit it gave him a reciept with the unit # ,he proceeded inside to unload his U-Haul and the unit on his reciept was pad locked, he tried calling the ph # ,took option #4 and left a voice mail -that has not been returned 18 hours later and counting- being on a dead line to return the U-Haul he put his stuff in the unit beside the one listed on his reciept and has since received an email that lists a completely different unit #. Mind you this was all mid day during business hours! I have attempted to call back this morning to clear things up but it is still going to the voice-mail box.I don't feel this place is managed very well or at least management is not tentative to their patrons when the need arrises. I will certainly update my review to include the outcome of this whole ordeal and change my rating if proven otherwise.

The only 2 things I liked about Staunton Self Storage is the self pay kiosk and text alert when your gate code is used. However, I will not recommend them.Mice somehow got into my belongings and I didn't know until I brought some things home. I contacted customer service to let them know about the situation and that I would not be paying my last month's rent (to offset the costs of getting rid of the mice in my home). A rep responded to offer to put a trap in my unit and that he set up my lease to terminate at the end of the month, but that they could not provide any credits. So I came by this morning to move my things out, which I also told them I would be doing, and was denied access at the gate. I left a voice-mail and checked my lease. In the lease, they claimed to have pest control, and also stated that not only are they not liable for any damages, but that they will own and hold lien over all property inside the units. This is implication that this is a preexisting problem they know about and still fraudulently advertise "acceptable condition" units. How can they decide they own someone else's property but deny responsibility of any damages that happens, and that they KNOW would happen while that property is under their care, and then refuse to make things right by waiving even just ONE months rent. The cost of me setting repellent in my house and then the time and labor for me to go through the things still trapped in the unit greatly exceeds the $71. Now I cannot even get my belongings back at all even though my lease isn't set to end until the end of the month. It makes me feel like it's a set up for them to get even more money by auctioning me out.
