Clean, cool, well finished rooms. Nice gym and pool. The environment in the pool room was surprisingly fresh for an indoor pool. The location is a short walk from all the downtown attractions. Staff is friendly and our family of 5 would happily stay again.

The main reason for this review is that I just had a fraudulent charge of almost $1,000 from this hotel. I stayed there back in February 2024 using a credit card. Just today (07/05/2024) I get a charge of $1,000. I called the hotel and the front desk told me that my complaint was above their pay grade and connected me to the hotel manager, which of course was a voicemail. Be cautious!

An acceptable hotel for convention guests or those passing through. Lacks any real charm or personality. Off white hallways and off white rooms with $79 Walmart 32 inch tvs.

I would give more stars if I could. These people made brilliant service look easy. They handled our large wedding party flawlessly and set aside a large room for breakfast.

What a delightful discovery. We were traveling from Calvert County, MD to Roan Mountain TN. for a conference. We set it late in the day and found ourselves near Staunton when we decided to call it a day. We looked online and saw this downtown hotel at a reasonable price. My expectations were exceeded. It was clean, charming and fresh. The front desk booked us in and we retired to our well appointed room. We enjoyed the breakfast and went on our way. I would stay here again.
Noteworthy details: An older hotel that has kept its shine. Great chandeliers in the lobby and easy parking.

Nearby activities: Great location in the heart of historic Staunton. It’s a quick walk to plenty of shopping and dining. The American Shakespeare Center is just around the corner. Overall great value for your money.

Perfect location right in the heart of downtown. Easy parking in the public parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Overnight parking is allowed and elevator access to the hotel is available in the parking garage. Rooms are very cozy and ours had a mini fridge. Make coffee in your room or head down to the lobby for complimentary coffee every morning. Friendly helpful staff, great place to stay!
Food & drinks: Tons of restaurants right outside the hotel door. Breakfast right in the lobby
