Having multiple Verizon cell phone lines for the family, Ive been to this store many times. The staff have been excellent, very kind, helpful and easy to work with.The only negative is that they are consistently understaffed and so I have been turned away two different times. Recently I was in there, it was only one person working the floor and about 5-7 customers in the store needing assistance. Even then, the staff member was very kind, efficient and helpful. If you need timely in-store assistance you may have to go to Charlottesville or Harrisonburg as the Verizon store in Waynesboro is not a true Verizon store.Verizon is typically the best cell service in the Shennendoah Valley, but T-Mobile can be acceptable under certian circumstances\locations. However its important to not fall victum of the budget "mobile virtual network operators" (MVNO) cell phone operators, like the ones you see advertized everywhere as low cost cell service alternatives. These operators dont own cell towers, they just piggyback on the major carriers and you WILL have inferior service, including lower cell tower access priority\lower quality (ex. frequent voice echo) than other cell phone users that are with the carriers that actually own the towers. The lower priority issue also applies to pre-paid cell services, for example T-Mobile says highest priority are post-paid (normal customers), followed by Google Fi customers, followed by T-Mobile pre-paid, followed by all other MVNOs. If you do go with an MVNO provider, at least understand why they are lower cost and why you may have tower access or other quality issues.

I was very disappointed after waiting 30 minutes with very minimal interactions. When I asked if more than ONE person would be out working the front I was brushed off. I left after an hour of waiting because I had to go do other things. Probably would’ve been another 20-30 minutes based on the lack of service.

Showed up wanting to change my plan, told to call a number, on hold for over 30 min. I'm switching to AT&T. Verizon used to have good service!

the woman who checked me in and helped me was very pleasant and helpful. my phone was not charging and she diagnosed the problem and provided a fix. I am now fixing my problem thanks to her. I find that the women who try to help are better than the men. thank you for getting me back to using my phone

I made an appointment and was told that I need to be there 15 minutes early to check in and I did that. Waited for an hour and after receiving offers from Verizon for months about an offer of $800.00 trade in for the old phones I was told that I could only get the deal for one of the phones on my account but not both. But I could get basically the same off both phones if I upgrade to a more expensive plan. The offer didn't say it's limited to only one phone on your account and it did say no plan changes were required. Having to wait too long and being told that I would have to change my plan was enough for me to forget about it. Not good service at all.

Adding $10 daily text fees to my phone for No reason! Going to store today! Costing me over $100 Extra! Will have removed or I will Have to go to court! I have the unlimited plan already!

Yesterday I had to replace my phone and the staff was great I purchased a phone straight out and kept my same number. They set everything up for me and was very patient through out the process

Second attempt getting the phone bill put in my name out of my deceased mother's name. Multiple tries on the phone no success, trying in person. Young man at the Waynesboro sent me here. Young lady said she couldn't talk to me since my name wasn't on the account.. waited forty five minutes to talk to the manager. He was to busy socializing to be bothered.

Well, thanks to the extremely obnoxiously rude employee at this store. Verizon has lost a 23 year loyal customer. So. I left and went straight to AT&T. All companies screw over there customers, it's just a matter of picking the least of the evil company.

Purchased a new Samsung S22 on 11/28/22. Noticed yesterday that 2/3 way down the screen there is a vertical line of pixels that are white. Went back to Verizon Staunton, Virginia store, originally told by employee after she conferred with manager that I would receive a warranty replacement phone but when she came back out was told that I would have to take the phone to Best Buy or Batteries+ to have phone repaired. Screen protector bought at Verizon and applied by them was cheap and definitely not tempered glass. Phone was not dropped or put down on a surface forcefully. After paying $800 for a phone, 8 days later I have to pay $249 to have the phone repaired. This phone was obviously defective, it just took a week for the problem to show up.Don't buy a phone from this store, it is a corporate store but they don't stand behind the products they sell.

So Shmar was super helpful and resolved the issue I had with my phone. I always find the folks here to be patient and willing to do whatever to make customers happy. We had a storm that knocked power out for a couple days, and they let me plug my phone in to charge it?.

Friendly staff and overall very good information given to me about my personal account and all the details I needed to know that could save me money too! Service is absolutely wonderful! The "Do more" plan is definitely worth the few extra dollars by a long shot! I've never had any trouble out of this plan either; plus the extra money saving apps included in the plan from Verizon is an added bonus for me which is something I won't complain about!
