High Point Truckstop is a small truck stop that offers limited parking spaces, usually taken by local drivers. It charges a $10 parking fee, whether for a short stay or overnight. The staff is described as wonderful and helpful, though the truckstop closes early, around 9 pm. The food options are not extensive, and the quality has been reported as inconsistent, with some good experiences and some disappointing ones. Overall, it seems to be a cozy, local establishment that caters more to the surrounding community than long-haul truckers. While it may have served as a popular truckstop in the past, its current focus appears to be more as a neighborhood restaurant.
