Staff is not well trained, asked on the phone for my prescription told them cuz Im getting my glasses online, they ask me to pass and pick up my prescription personally (makes sense) but then after pick it up, I have news that in my prescription my PD is not there at all, so I called again and they told me I have to come back again to get that number...even when I already explained what was the intend. So then I had to come back, and when I did the lady at the front desk told me tha tthey dont have the PD number, then I told her, the doctor told me you guys up front will give me that number, then she wasnt sure, then somehow she found a tool to give me my PD but she wasnt sure about the number she gave me and also the way how she put it on my facde was really wrong/bad/incorrect, I had to move it and centered for her like I work there, afer that she gave me a number that was completely wrong, order the wrong PD for my glasses and everything was a mess, even after ask her twice to confirm and still the wrong information, I had to figure it out my self with my las prescription. PD number of the prescription a HEADACHE with this place.

Bought glasses a few months ago and the screws won’t stop popping out. Been about about 4 times now! I’ve bought repair kits and have been able to put the screws back in until I finally lost a microscopic screw. Do I just have a big head? I don’t know what to do anymore.

We had a lady Lyn disrespect my parents here. They got glasses here just a few months ago and they are on low income. My father had a slight scratch on his glasses and this lady kept saying they purchased over a year ago or used their insurance benefits and was laughing with a disgusting attitude the entire time she was talking. She had no empathy or any concern that he was elderly. There have been times these folks have allowed people to purchase the extended insurance before and they treated my elderly parent with such disrespect. We at times also had another employee refusing to acknowledge their insurance benefits and had to convince him that his benefits were actually accepted at this place. Imagine how many people these folks turn away. This is so messed up as we have spent so much money at this place and this how they treat us? Disgusting, I will be bringing this up as many places possible! She asked him $200 dollars for a little scratch on his lens and he is low income!

I scheduled an eye exam appointment with America’s Best, and 20 minutes before my appointment—while I was already halfway there—they called to inform me that there would be no optometrist onsite and that my exam would be conducted virtually.
I was shocked. I asked how it was even possible to conduct a proper eye exam virtually, and the answer didn’t reassure me at all. What’s worse is that the appointment confirmation email clearly stated to arrive 10–15 minutes early, which I was on track to do. Instead, I was notified at the last minute that the appointment wouldn’t be what I signed up for.
This kind of last-minute change is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for customers’ time and expectations.
Very disappointed in how this was handled.

A very Dishonest, unfriendly and rude place. The $89.90 two pairs of prescriptions glasses advertised with Free eye exam. Nowhere on the ad it says partial or extra charges apply. They charged me extra $20- for the same eye test that is free everywhere. And when I asked why ? Where does it say that there was no answer not a word.
The. The glasses I got are horrible. The reading glasses focus at about 19 to 11 inches and the frame bites at nose. The other glasses go out of focus after 8 feet. Hard to read or make out even words as large as 2 , 2.5 inches. And the frame is like I am wearing something made of 2x4 studs. It's not hugging the temples as the frame I had tried on. Not a single smiling or friendly person except one whose name I don't remember sat at desk close to entrance door.
Why in America open Fraud and deception has become the norm? How come people in these businesses have no integrity or remorse and are openly scamming people for $20- extra. Let's 100 thousand customers got glasses multiply the 100,000 with 20 and you see how they take in millions in dishonest illegal criminal earnings. It's because no one makes the time to file a class action lawsuit against these (Evil) people. We walk out saying oh well, a $20- loss ok no big deal. But it's millions they steal from us the people. And then they they have no decency or manners even to serve public. It's the same story at doctors and dentists and just about everywhere. Dishonest and evil people.

I want to highly recommend an employee that works at this place his name is Lenon. I went the other day not know exactly what I wanted but his good experience helped me to find the perfect pair for me and even more. I am delighted by his kindness and empathy showed during our interaction and I highly recommend a rise because that was a high class level client experience I had on that day. Thank You, Lenon!

I suppose I should have read the reviews before going to this location. I had a great experience with Americas Best in Monterey, CA, not so much with this one. After multiple trips and two separate exams, they were not able to get the prescription right. When they tried to schedule a third eye exam I cancelled the order. I will give the company a chance at another location but I won’t be returning to this location in Dulles, VA.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Stars — Joshua to the Rescue!
I walked into America's Best Eyecare Eyewear in Sterling, Virginia looking like a sad public service announcement for “why you shouldn’t sit on your glasses.” Mine had snapped clean in half after I—brilliantly—decided to stash them in my back pocket. (Spoiler alert: not a great idea.)
Enter Joshua—part optical expert, part miracle worker, and 100% class act. This guy greeted me like an old friend and didn’t flinch when I pulled out my mangled frames that looked like they had been through a blender. Instead, he calmly assessed the situation like a NASA engineer prepping a shuttle repair.
Joshua didn’t just help me find new frames—he helped me find the perfect ones, and somehow managed to keep me laughing through the whole process. His humor, professionalism, and genuine care turned a frustrating “oh no” moment into a “wow, I’m really glad I came here” kind of day.
If you ever break your frames in a tragic back-pocket mishap, or just want to be treated like royalty while shopping for eyewear, go see Joshua. The man’s a legend in lenses.

Zero communication and totally apathetic customer service. I wanted new lenses and to keep my old frames, but when they didn't have my current frames they decided to just order some other ones that looked close enough. Next they tell me those frames never actually showed up and they instead thought they had lost my current frames, which they never had in the first place. Finally decided to ask for a refund and they agreed, called a week after not receiving it to find out it was never actually processed. Told me they got it this time and would send an email confirming it; the email never came. I'm tired of getting strung along.
Don't waste your time here.

Used to have a great experience here. However the front desk staff is not very helpful. I came into pick up a pair of contact lenses that I pick up monthly. I came in this week and they increased the price on my contacts and no one could answer my question as to why the price increased. This is really disappointing as the staff should be able to answer patients questions. This location needs to do better.
