Felicia is very knowledgeable about curls and how to properly take care of them. I brought my 4 year old daughter in for her first cut and to get help on how to make her curls moisturized. Felicia explained the steps I should be taking to style her hair and what products to use and why. It's been a couple days and her hair is noticeably less frizzy and feels 100% healthier. Very grateful to have found her!

You can really tell Felicia cares about her client and wants the best for them. I came in with overgrown roots and a hair dye job from over a year ago, and I wanted Felicia to blend my natural hair and my preciously bleached part of my hair together. She did a good job fixing the color on my hair from a box dye alongside deep conditioning to heal my fried strands. Now my hair feels so soft and healthy!

Today I booked am appointment for a layered haircut. I am happy with the results and price paid for it. It was my first time at this place and the atmosphere is friendly. My hairdresser was quick and did a great job.

I'm fairly new to this area and needed someone to fix my highlights I had done at another place. After reading all of the good reviews, I gave them a call and made an appointment. Felicia did a wonderful job at correcting the awful yellow tint I had, and I left so happy with my hair. I've been back a second time to have Felicia do my highlights, and I'm just as pleased as the first time. I am very happy with her color recommendations and will continue to trust her with my hair.

I had been looking for a place to take my special needs adult son to get his hair dyed black with candy apple red tips. After looking on the internet Artisan was the only salon that had any photos of color work that were along those lines. I sent an email letting them know what I was looking for and also shared some information about my son and his abilities to see if they would be able to accommodate. The owner of the salon responded with an absolutely and that Felicia would be in touch. Later that day Felicia called me and we spoke about my son and what he was looking for. Was able to get an appointment for later in the week and Felicia did not disappoint. She listened to my son and what he wanted. She took her time with him always making sure he was comfortable and knew what she was doing. Hands down the best experience my son has ever had at a hair salon. Thank you so much Felicia for making him feel so special and look amazing!

Took my 11 year old daughter to see Felicia for a massive knot she had from getting a brush stuck in her hair. Felicia was amazing and was great working with my daughter. She had to cut it out and cut/styled her hair so her hair will grow back with a cute step to hide the shorter section (that is on top of her head). Daughter left in high spirits, big smiles, and asked to come back again. Highly recommend Felicia! We'll definitely be back!

After salon hopping for a few years since moving to NOVA, I am so pleased to finally find a salon that has such a genuine atmosphere. Excellent and fun service from Amanda and Debbie, and they were so accommodating to pencil me and my husband in as a last minute same day appointments. I will be looking forward to my next appointment!

I've been going to this salon for a few years now. Debbie, the owner, is wonderful. I get my hair done by the amazing Amanda, and she never disappoints. They also have an amazing esthetician named Donna who will give you an amazing facial with the best products. If you need your hair done or a mini spa day, I highly recommend this salon.

This was my first time going to Artisan Hair Design and Felisha exceeded my expectations. I came in nervous as I had gone to another stylist twice, to get my hair cut and dyed. I left the other stylist disappointed as I didn’t get what I asked for. They always say 3rd time is a charm, and Felisha is my testimony to that! She did everything I asked for, and more. Felisha was extremely friendly and professional, and gave a detailed explanation as to what she was doing to my hair and why. I have naturally curly hair and she took extra precautions to keep my hair healthy and shiny. I will continue to go to Felisha with any hair needs I have. I highly recommend her if you have curly hair, whether you want a trim, cut or color - she will take care of you. 10/10 Service!!

Sent in an inquiry a few weeks ago, because I was interested in discussing having them do my hair and my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding. They never contacted me. Called them (during business hours) and was sent to voicemail. Super unprofessional and you just lost my business. Really sad, because I was looking forward to hearing back from them :(
