We chose Moogie and she transformed our Master bath and kitchen, from a dream to reality in a timely fashion. She is an incredible contractor, who will listen to your needs and implement them in the design as best as she can. She is smart, honest, professional and fairly priced. Moogie and her team are one of the Best in the business and we’re so lucky to have found her!

Avenir Kitchen and Bath did a full kitchen renovation for me this spring (2025). It was a huge project that involved removing a wall and relocating plumbing, gas, etc. I interviewed a lof of contractors but I am so happy I chose them. Moogie is a pleasure to work with. She takes feedback, makes adjustments, communicates thoroughly, and is truly knowledgeable about every aspect of home renovation, from design to construction. Not only that, she manages the project so accurately that it was on time and within budget. Never did I have a day/week when I was left wondering where the crew was or when they would be back. The crew she uses was also excellent in terms of scheduling and leaving the space tidy every day before they left. I can recommend Avenir without hesitation and will absolutely use Moogie again for future projects.

Using Avenue Kitchen and Bath was a great decision. Moogie designed a wonderful bathroom. Her design made the space feel bigger. She worked hard to make sure I was informed and happy with each step in the process. Moogie is very detailed oriented. She examined all the workmanship to make sure it was of high quality. I am very happy with the process and the finished product.

Avenir Kitchen and Bath made a wonderful kitchen renovation. From an old original Formica seventies kitchen to an up to date cabinets and countertops. Beautiful new wood flooring, bright lighting and kitchen window.

We were referred to Moogie by neighbors who were very happy with the remodeled bath she did recently. She consulted with us and asked all the right questions and is very pragmatic. Before we even started the design and permit process she wanted to check on the ventilation requirements for the powder room we wished to install. Unfortunately we could not meet DC building regulations in the space we wanted to use without this becoming a substantially bigger and more expensive project which would involve redoing our master bath as well. We are disappointed but grateful to Moogie for doing that research at the outset, saving us a lot of time and money. We would certainly go to Moogie again if we had a different project.

We recently worked with Avenir to re-model our master bathroom and are thrilled with the end result. Moogie and team were fantastic to work with. Moogie was patient and collaborative throughout the design process, ensuring that we got just what we wanted. Avenir Kitchen and Bath did a remodel of our master shower and bath area. Our new bathroom looks amazing! We had the same person manage the project start to finish. She was onsite almost daily to ensure the remodel was going exactly to plan and gave daily updates on what was completed and what to expect next. Moogie Kennedy:What a talented, creative designer! Moogie Kennedy worked tirelessly in assisting me with design ideas. She honored my own personal plans, while creating a nice balance of the inclusion of her amazing expertise. Moogie guided me through the remodeling process and saw the project through to its end. Though Mrs. Kennedy’s work is lovely and flawless, she followed- up with me to get that special seal of approval. It is quite clear and extremely important that Moogie has a happy client.
