I have always been happy with my service at Don Buyer until today. Don Buyer recently sold the dealership to a private equity group. I needed 100k service for my 2018 xc60. I also had a headlight which was out. After an hour, my rep explained that my headlight couldn’t be fixed (internal failure) and needed to be replaced. The cost for parts and labor $3500. He was so matter of fact, I couldn’t understand how a headlight could cost that much to replace. I declined the new headlight and was paying my bill for 100k mile service and the clerk told me that they now had a 3% credit fee with any transactions. The old Don Buyer would never have done this to its customers. This was a tacky and obvious money grab. I won’t go back to Dulles Volvo. The new ownership is clearly putting profits over service.

I recently purchased a 2026 XC60 from Beyer Volvo Dulles. The sales specialist was Matt Kesterson, who did a great job. He was patient, answered all my questions, and there was no pressure whatsoever. Ended up with exactly the vehicle I wanted. Matt’s father, the manager at the dealership, also did a great job in helping to finalize the deal. Since purchasing the car, Matt has been easy to reach and answered various questions I’ve had about one or another aspect of the vehicle and its features. In sum, this was a five star experience all around.

Had the best, most stress-free car buying experience at Beyer Volvo Dulles! Matt, in particular, was a phenomenal sales associate! His professionalism, customer care, and willingness to ensure we were completely happy with the vehicle was second to none! He truly went above and beyond! I absolutely recommend Beyer Volvo Dulles…and definitely ask for Matt! His attention to detail, and personalized service is the difference maker, I can promise you that. On top of that, Matt applied absolutely zero pressure on us, which made the entire experience so easy. Thank you, Beyer Volvo! You gained a new fan today!

I'd like to take the time today to write a great review for Matt and Mike at Don Beyer Volvo - Dulles, Virginia. A few months ago my wife and I arrived back in the USA after many years abroad. And I have been driving a Ford for over 10 years and never thought of changing until I met Matt and Mike.We were both still finding our feet and had been researching a few car dealerships in the area.We are very grateful we ended up working with Matt at Volvo Beyer. He was and is very kind, respectful, and listened to all of our never-ending questions and concerns. He walked us through every step of buying our new Volvo and had us test drive multiple models. Furthermore, he had us look through the different types of car models, their prices, and what would be the best car for our lifestyle and budget. Never made us pressured about anything and never felt like I was talking to a salesperson!
Overall, we ended up buying an XC60 2026 model, and it's truly a wonderful experience and car. It was a pleasure to meet and work with such a genuine person as Matt. Also, just another round of appreciation for the staff at Volvo Beyer, who go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you so much.

Beware trying to schedule your service through the app. Scheduled a couple of different services through the app and requested a loaner vehicle. Front desk staff can see we requested a loaner vehicle, but our service provider stated it showed us as a drop off in his system and there was no specific service selected. He stated there were no loaners available, and we had to reschedule our service for yet another week away (this is for a recall).
Such a frustrating experience this morning with minimal apology. So much for customer service.

I had an outstanding experience buying a 2023 electric XC40 from Beyer Volvo Cars Dulles. I was searching on cars.com for a certified pre-owned electric XC40 and found one with only 7k miles at Beyer. I called the dealership and spoke with Ellie in the Sales dept. Ellie was extremely helpful immediately, texting me an “out the door” price showing the taxes, fees etc. and the original sticker. She made a video showing the exterior and interior of the car and texted it to me. Once I decided to come see the car, Ellie requested all the information she would need to complete the sale from out of state (I live in PA). She made it very easy to remotely pay a deposit so they could hold the car a few days until I could travel to the dealership. When I arrived, Ellie was fully prepared with all the paperwork. She is amazing. I test drove the car, and met with Alex, an excellent product specialist who explained the car’s technical features. Then I met with George, the finance manager who handled the sale and explained the extended warranty process in a low pressure manner. There were no hidden fees. I got a great deal on the car; a dealership near our home was not able to match the price. Everyone at Beyer was very helpful and really nice, even offering coffee and snacks for my drive home to PA. The facility is new, spacious and very clean. All in all, it was a really positive experience. And I love the car!

Ellie and the Beyer Volvo Cars Dulles team have a customer for life! Truly exceptional service and car through the entire car buying process. Ellie worked magic to get us the exact vehicle we wanted in the price range we could afford. Liz made the financial process easy, and we made sure to let Nick (the manager) know what a good experience we had. Can’t wait to bring my Volvo XC-60 PHEV there for service when it’s time!

I just wanna alert new buyers if specially buy used car from this place , you have to be careful about the sales people here , I bought car year ago over twenty thousands dollar . They did not disclose some of the things had issue with the car , within few months found sun roof was not working which I did not know that , I reported but they told me to bring the car , only probably needed reset ( not sure exactly what was done) charged 250 dollars, then after 10k miles went to get my oil change told me my Ac tube leaking , will cost 925 dollars , which should have been check prior to sell this car , I felt like betrayed with me , I feel it is like money making place , don’t care about customer, I did not feel they are honest! Within year of buying car costing so much money , I feel like I did not buy car from good dealer , seems like bought from the street dealer ! It is a disappointment! I never will buy car from this place. I reported that issue and frustration to the management, I do not feel they are too courteous about customer complaints, they try to explain you to get away without addressing enough your concerns!

I’m still very new to the DMV and I love my Volvo! It’s been difficult to find a dealership that believes in taking care of their customers. I called and got Deborah Stack, and her professionalism is fantastic! I just needed a battery in my car and I know that it’s not easy to get into a service department in the middle of the week. Not only did she call me back with the prices but she also squeezed me in to get the job done! That’s the kind of service that gets my attention, and my money! Thank you bunches for taking care of me in my hour of need!

You’ll never find a better dealer! They go out of their way to take care of you and ensure you have the best experience possible. Our family is on our third Volvo from Mike Moore. Debbie makes maintenance so easy and painless. All the mechanics take time to explain in regular terminology if something is up with your car. The GM, Pete, cares not only about his customers, but also about his staff as evident by the team mentality and overall kindness from everyone on staff. I’ve recommended Don Buyer Volvo - Dulles to multiple people all who have had wonderful experiences buying and leasing from this team. I interacted with him several times over the course of a few weeks, and he was responsive, friendly, and engaging. I truly enjoyed my experience at Beyer Volvo and I'd like to personally thank Ali for his kind demeanor.

My husband and I dropped off my car at Beyer Volvo cars Dulles for 30,000 miles maintenance services today. They sent me a reminder e-mail the day before stating that a Loaner vehicle would be provided for the service. Well, when we dropped off the car, the service representative told us that they’re out of loaner cars. He explained that five loaner cars were supposed to be returned last night, but none of them were returned. We were shocked to receive this information. We thought, “Really?? You’re telling me that NOW??” Plus, he did not apologize once. My appointment was at 9am. If they had simply let me know the night before or even in the morning, we could have brought a car with us, and it wouldn’t have been an issue at all. However, they did not, and we ended up taking an Uber home because my husband had work. It was such an unpleasant experience.
