The customer service in this store is awkward . The manager, I’m assuming (since she was the only one dressed in casual clothes while working) followed my self, my mother, sister, child and child’s father around the store. She didn’t speak or inquire if we needed help. When we moved to a section, she followed. We had no purses or bags nor did anything to indicate we were there to seal. The associates were professional and kind. The manager was clearly hovering every where we went in the store. She didn’t speak but made eye contact. We don’t work there so it’s not our job to greet her. It’s my daughter’s favorite store and I wanted to take her to a different five below (bigger, more inventory) opposed to our local store for her birthday and ended up be incredibly uncomfortable.

You can no longer self checkout at this location. They have one person working the registers and filling balloons at the same time. If you are in a rush I suggest you don’t go here.

So the remodel looks great . However I went in today after leaving the dollar tree and I was pretty just wasting time. I stopped and looked at some brushes. I admit I ended a call. Put the brush back on its hook and then reached in my purse to make another call. I'm well aware of how that looks . But its five and below. Then I asked some guy who was following me where the phone cases besides the iPhone cases were and he shrugged. Your wearing a five and below shirt and you don't know things are. Then you follow to the check out .I promise I'm not going to jail for shoplifting at five and below. Ain't nothing in there going to be worth it . I understand theft is high but its five and below.
