First, I want to say the people who installed my floors did an amazing job — truly professional and efficient. The delivery team was also very friendly. So hats off to them!
Unfortunately, the experience with Home Depot itself (or at least the Sterling location) was a mess. I tried calling the store multiple times to get information about my floor delivery — no one ever answered. I eventually had to call corporate, who promised the store would contact me. Of course, that never happened.
Then, the day before the install, the contractor called to confirm. I told him he might want to cancel because I still hadn’t heard anything from Home Depot. Just a few minutes later, I get a call from the store saying the delivery team would be at my place in 10 minutes — no warning. I work far from home and it was raining, and up to that point I was told the flooring needed to sit indoors for two days. Suddenly, that didn’t matter.
So while the people doing the work were excellent, the communication and organization on Home Depot's end were shockingly bad. I can’t in good faith recommend them for services based on this experience. The lack of follow-through and transparency is just poor business

It is little bit crowded. Service is good I have purchased the cardboard boxes. The place is little bit clumsy.

I believe his name is George, I was looking at washer and dryers today and he gave me the best advice and explained everything to me. He answered all my questions - checked back in. Every home depot needs someone like him

Placed an order for a shower head. Home Depot delivered the item to someone else. Ordered a replacement. Home Depot lost that item prior to shipment. The third attempt is pending. Each time they charged the full amount and forced us to wait for a refund. The incompetence and lack of customer service is mind boggling. Amazingly, Amazon is easier to deal with.

Never boy electric equipment from homedepot they give you 30 day return policy but the equipment break in 60 days. I bought a mover it stop working after 60 days I took it back to the sterling store they said no return no warranty they gave me a number for to call which was not helpful.

Very patient staff in the garden center. I forgot my wallet and had to use Taft to pay which I haven't used many times. Took me quite a while after some declines in payment but the register associate was very patient.
Great availability of products also when you go online it maps too availability.

Management here sucks. Waited over half an hour for a lumber associate to come cut a board. Called twice 10 minutes in-between each call. No one showed up, I finally just left. How about you staff your store appropriately.

Beware when purchasing Stackable Washer and Dryer. Home Depot did not provided any information nor explained their policy regarding purchasing the stackable bracket to mount the Dryer outside of Home Depot will void the installation at home. Yet, an employee recommended to purchase the stackable bracket outside of Home Depot due to the item was unavailable in the store/ online when purchasing the Stackable washer and dryer. The delivery people did not installed the washer and dryer because the stackable bracket was purchased at Lowe’s. However, they did not installed the Washer purchased at Home Depot for us then we could have installed the stackable bracket and dryer afterwards. The delivery people did not installed the hoses or electrical cable for the washer and dryer. Home Depot lacks policy communication and employees training to inform and warn customers to not purchase any items needed for the washer and dryer outside of Home Depot or else the installation policy will be void. It’s best to purchase everything at Lowe’s or somewhere else when Home Depot does not have certain parts available because they won’t install your items.

One of the worst Home Depot in the North Virginia.
11 people in the line for returns, online order, rent and only one person is working.
We asked for a store manager and he was not in the store.
Store managers like this one needs to be fired.
If people call out for work step in and help!

Need to buy plywood that I needed cutting on Lowe’s had no one available. Went to HD and their employee Celos took care of us. He was excellent getting all the cuts we needed, and was allowed. Will go back there again

As a man who spends a lot of time at Home Depot getting my supplies, I want to share the great experience I had yesterday. We purchased a Weber grill, and the delivery service was outstanding. They don't remove the old grill even if you pay to have it taken away.
