I’ve bought so many items from this store and they have been expired! They do not go through their food to see if it’s still good & then we pay for old expired food! When I have told them about it …they said asked where my receipt was, who keeps the receipt after putting groceries away? This has happened so many times. I think Patel Brothers is the way to go now. This place is a health hazard.

This is an Indian grocery store located in Sterling, VA. It is a nice, clean store with reasonable prices for various grocery items. You can find spices, nuts, fresh vegetables, etc. in the store. The items are arranged in a logical manner. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.

I have been going to this store since its inception and the former Asian groceries next street over. My issue with this store is two fold, (a) they keep changing prices almost every other day, and (b) stark tendency to overprice (e.g.., the recent shortage of Rice issue) almost like a black marketeer. I hope the owner can retain the "local community" feel vice mimicking the national chain stores. I realize it is a delicate balance.

This is a bigger grocery store than the one we usually go to in Rockville. They have a lot more food items and shelves are better organized. Even if you don't normally eat or cook Indian food once you are in here you'd want to get stuff to try since prices are reasonable. This time we got a bunch of spices in various forms - would be fun to experiment.
