Cosmetologist was in a room on her phone while waiting for my Mom hair dye to be ready. I had to keep calling her to be finish with my Mom who is 75yrs. Old.

Would NOT recomend. I got a haircut yesterday. So choppy, so short. I asked for 1 inch off and long layers. Its so bad. Im so dissapointed.Horrible I am so upset.

They don't whant work ,the hair styles make bad faces is they dont like the customer,and allways say the are busy dont let you make appointments and just give excuses dont go here ,dont have any respect to all people, the stylists are bad people they judge people based on their appearance and they don't want to serve everyone

Last minute I needed an eyebrow wax. I showed up as the Salon was opening and everyone was friendly and professional in lieu of annoyed as I had no appointment. I waited ten minutes and was immediately serviced. My eyebrows look great and my aesthetician discussed the latest services to protect my medium blonde highlights. I had a last minute invite and needed my eyebrows, upper lip and chin waxed. I have hair on my chin since undergrad when our 'family' doctor decided to place me on hormones for cessation of my cycles (I was an athlete). I arrived at opening and was fit in between appointments. Sahar did a great job. My eyebrows are micro bladed so extra hair makes me look ridiculous. Thanks for the last minute save. I'm returning for a deep conditioning. I noticed the reviews here and on Google are really old!

I would give this place zero stars if possible, place looks like a tornado. The shoe area is in absolute disarray I swear there were no matching shoes, I also tripped on shoes on the floor!! The clothes are scattered all over the place and floor. There are no words to describe the horrific bathroom it was filthy. toilets are filled with bodily fluids... there was bodily fluids on the floor. There were paper towels everywhere on the sink and floor. I only saw three employees in the entire store, two at the check out register doing the same register one putting stuff in bags like a sloth and the other scanning stuff and one waltzing around the store acting completely clueless of the mess around her. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE STORE AGAIN!!! I advise you do the same!

Date,10/13/2020 Went to JC Penny to buy a memory foam pillow advertised at $17.99. I saw the shelf the pillows were sitting on with the sign in front of the pillows stating the price reduction to $17.99. I read the label on the pillows and checked the price sign to see that it matched the product on the shelf and it matched. I brought the pillow to the register and the clerk rang up the price at more than $24. When I disputed the amount the clerk said that they would call the department head for an override on the price. The department had came and told me that the price was $24 not $17.99. . She made up a lame excuse for the price difference. I declined to buy the pillow and accused them bait and switch tactics. I will never walk into a JCPenney's again. They are in chapter 11 bankruptcy and I hope they go out of business. The pillows were clearly advertised at $17.99. The department head made no efforts to rectify the error. I will never shop at JCPenney ever again.

Imagine getting locked in the department store because the MOD didn't do their job and shut the store 10 minutes early. Well, it happened to me and at least 10 other customers and the MOD didn't care. They announced at 6:50pm that the store would be closing at 7 so make sure to head the register to complete your purchases and make your way to the exits. We were in the junior section which is to the right of the front of the store, second floor. We head toward the exit. They had shut the gate down already. So we guessed they wanted people to use the first floor exit. Head to the escalator which they have already shut down as well. Guess what, the first floor is gated as well. We ask what we are suppose to do? They said to use 2nd floor. We told them it was gated. They call the MOD. She finally shows up and says 'I didn't know there were any customers left in the store, you have to go out the back of the store.' Is that not her responsibility to make sure the store is clear of customers before locking up? The group of us tell her , 'no, you closed both gates early. We aren't parked here. We need mall access.' She refused. She didn't care. She wanted to go home. So the whole lot of us were forced to walk all the way around the outside of the mall because JC Penny decided they wanted to shutdown early and not make sure the store was clear. The store needs to go the way of Woolworths.

This place has really gone down hill. It really only appeals to really older women or children. There is no good misses or juniors. The clothing is of low quality. The bathrooms at this location are always filthy. The guest service team members are always so rude and more involved in each other than the customer. Clothing every where. The only saving grace would be Sephora which is usually out of stock of whatever you're looking for.

Another American icon probably soon to be gone. What is up with JCPenney? I'm starting to wonder if they've become mediocre on purpose? To their credit, they have occasional sales on Dockers and Levi jeans, but this isn't enough to save a once proud company. Employees seem decent enough, but they are few and far between. Good luck during checkout, and the same if checking for your clothing sizes. For men's clothing, they don't have much. In a way it feels slightly Eastern European, although they have a little bit of casual or fashionable. The problem is their sweatshirts and other clothes, are a lot cheaper at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. Their shoe selection is abysmal, and their tie choices are from the 1980s. I don't like this location at Dulles Town Center, and I don't understand how they afford to pay the rent. There's just not a lot to say, in a positive manner about this department store.

This is for the photo studio. My in-laws came to visit from Seattle and wanted to get professional pics done with our daughter. They got to the studio on time today only to be told they were behind 45 minutes! People were waiting for their pics to be taken as well. There was only one person running the whole studio. Also said they were having issues with their camera. My family got to take their pics and needed to leave so they were told they could come back later to pick out their proofs. They found out an hour later that JCP LOST their photos! We already had tickets to see a movie and couldn't really come back. My husband got a call from them offering a $50 gift card if we came back at 3:45 pm. We went down to the studio after our movie and was told by some guy behind the counter that he had no idea about a gift card and the person Renee who called my husband had gone on break. Super disappointed with the lack of apology and the lack of communication between the employees we left. We won't be back again.

Recently we went to the JcPenny hair salon and they had a deal for kids Kindergarten to 6th grade to get a $10 haircut. We weren’t satisfied with her haircut. She literally chopped her hair. We didn’t ask for her hair to be like that. Now her hair is ruined and she looks so peculiar. I’m not going there again. I rather just cut my kids hair at home. Our stylist was a Designer! Fay and she should know how to cut any type of hair! Weather it’s $10 or $60 a haircut should be cut well.
