Good prices. Enjoyed steak, corn beef, chicken. Lots of cookies, crackers, chocolate- European brands. Some delicious produce and baked goods.

This is my favorite store to come but they always have one register open. I always have to wait in line for a long time for that reason sometimes I avoid coming here.

Lidl is German retailer of grocery items, home and clothing. This is a very popular store in Europe. I have been to a few locations of this store in Austria and Croatia. I never knew there were any locations of Lidl in the US. There are significantly less Lidl stores in the US, than across even three European countries combined.I was surprised that there's a Lidl store in Sterling, VA.The prices are comparable to those at Aldi. However at Lidl, the prices of everyday goods such as milk and eggs are even lower. They have an impressive selection of holiday decorations, cookies and treats. They have some toys that are a bargain at $4.99 to $9.99. The section of home goods is pretty messy, but it's worth looking through. We got hungry while shopping, their bakery section had a decent selection of fresh pastries. We got the chocolate twists, for only .99 cents each. These were pretty good, very crispy and chocolatey. You can also find fresh plants and wine at this Lidl.If you have one in your state, I would stop by, they have some quality merchandise at the lowest cost around.

You can buy all the groceries you need and that too at a very reasonable price. Great customer service. Clean and tidy.

We order in bulk quantities for a food pantry which can be challenging at times. Paul and Linda are great to work with. Obstacles are quickly identified and addressed. They will go above and beyond when necessary to met our needs.

If you want RUDE, indifference and POOR POOR customer service checking you out at the cash register, then Daniel is your guy!!!! This morning 8/21/23 @ 12:45pm Lane #1 was Super rude, no manners even in the way of responding with a simple "hello," or a "thank you." Good thing the 4 items I purchased here are Delicious! Daniel and his piss-poor attitude are enough to NEVER COME BACK!!! Can I we please get those self check out stations. A great investment as to not poison people's shopping experience ! (I'd rather check myself out myself then deal with a gen-z who clearly doesn't want to be there!!!!Happy shopping!

I've been a happy Lidl customer since their stores opened here in Northern VA. They offer a wide variety of products and their staff is always super helpful!

Please just stock more plain Greek yogurt. I have never seen you run out of another item but you are out of yogurt at least 70% of the time.

Love the idea of Lidl. Definitely savings on a lot of items. Today we were overcharged on a couple of things. Realized it after loading the car. But with having to wait in a long line again to fix the issue we just decided it wasn't worth the effort. Annoying.

I usually like Lidl for their prices but you have to pay attention to the dates on their produce. I bought a box of salad greens today and when I got home saw that the “best by” date on the container was yesterday.

This store is okay if you only need to pick up a few basic items, but that's about it. Prices okay but limited selection of pretty much everything, hardly any customer service, long lines at the register (they need a self service checkout) plus this location generally looks messy, at least whenever I've been there. I recommend shopping at the Lidl in Ashburn, it's much nicer...

An average grocery store, prices are fair but not cheaper than other similar stores. Being said, depending on where you usually go, you may find some less expensive items in this store, especially their store-brand items. The location used to be Shoppers, but now Lidl has substituted Shoppers. Not crowded, except Saturdays, but sometimes there is a long line since check-out counters are limited ( two or three open checkouts).I like their bakery, kind of back to the original German root of the store, to me, their bakery is their best bet, price and quality match. They neither have extensive variety and options similar to Wegmans or Giants, nor their customer service is as good as Harris Teeters or Whole Foods. However, you can find all of your necessary and basic items in Lidl, so it is enough for many families. But if you are looking for great fruits, organic foods, and fresh fish, this is not the grocery store that you want to go to.

Don’t buy fresh flowers from Lidl, they are spray painted. I bought a bouquet with different color flowers, turned out they were all white and were spray painted in different colors and were spray with air freshener (for smell)What a dishonesty.I wish i could post photos here.
