I love this Michael's, but I had a disappointing experience with the manager, Michelle, today. I needed some fabric cut and wasn’t sure where to go, so I approached the first person I saw wearing a Michael’s vest. As soon as I said “Excuse me,” she cut me off and very loudly and rudely said, “IT’S RIGHT THERE!”.
I understand that she might be having a bad day, but if you're working in customer service—especially in a management position—basic courtesy should still apply. I was shocked that a manager would speak to a customer like that. I honestly feel bad for the other employees who might have to work under someone with that attitude.

I’ve been shopping at this Michaels for almost ten years, and honestly, I’m really disappointed with how things have changed. It’s hard to find anyone at the front to help, and the friendly cashiers I used to see are nowhere to be found. What’s worse is the current manager—she always seems angry and is quick to snap at both employees and customers. It creates such an uncomfortable vibe.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but after another bad experience today, I felt like I had to say something. Turns out, I’m not the only one—looks like a lot of people have had similar run-ins.
I’ve seen a few new younger cashiers who were super friendly, but they don’t seem to stick around for long. If this is a problem coming from management or higher up, I really hope someone steps in and does something about it.

This location now carries fabric. There was no sign that I could see for where to get it cut. But you went to the Framing section. Check out was good, though a few of the self checkouts were down. Quick friendly service. I enjoy going to this Michael's.

Self checkout is not great. Very small space and cramped. ONE cashier on a Saturday who has a line PLUS trying to help self checkout. Please try to staff properly if you're not making your self checkout area any better. Cashier was awesome but running around everywhere. Next time, I'll just wait in line and wait for the cashier directly.
