Staff I’ve met in person are always nice. Though they’ve raised their prices by over 30 dollars in the last five years. I started out paying 35/month and now it’s 67/month for the same size space. So I’m working to empty out my space to save money. Also, a year ago I got a notification that my space will have to be relocated because they needed to do “reconstruction” in the area where my locker was at that time. So I went to my space to start moving my stuff to another locker, and saw that there were rodent droppings all over the place. Wild guess what the reconstruction was for. I took the items that weren’t soiled to another locker and left the items that were soiled there and let them know I didn’t want them anymore and I didn’t feel comfortable removing them myself. Thankfully nothing was of monetary value. They removed the items themselves without complaint, so at least that was something.

AC storage units are double the price and come with complimentary mold. The whole place smells like vomit and cat piss and the staff on site are unreliable at best. Find another storage spot.

Finally, after 7 years, I’m out of Public Storage. .
I move to another Storage and they did allow me to keep the same price for a 5x10 of $55 for Two years. Climate Controlled
I’m sick of Public Storage “garbage” with the price changes.
Initially on the Website/App they advertise low prices ($45 for a 5x10).
Few months after renting the unit, the same “garbage” over again, Price increase. But they still advertising online the same space for aprox $45 but they increase my payment to $100, instead of the $45 online
Of course, if I try to pay 1 or 2 years in advance, Public Storage keeps increasing the price as they please.
Although I’ve been for over 5yrs with Public Storage. The last email about another price increase, was the determining factor.
I’m getting my stuff out. ASAP to another company without all the stupid rules Public Storage have.
If you think that making money’s by increasing prices as you please is better than keeping customers, I will show you that the answer is NO, by moving my things to another company
As always: Management will start posting the same stupid and ridiculous apologies. Just trying to fool other customers
