Let me save you time in deciding who to use for your next audio/video, Ethernet, or smart home project... RumAV Solutions is the best around; there's no need to look any further.Abdallh is extremely diligent and hard working. He never stopped for lunch and worked from 8:30a until after 4p every day. He finished a large project that I had been planning for months in 3 days. He made some of the cleanest cuts in drywall I've ever seen and never made a cut without running a vacuum at the same time. He checked in throughout each day, updated me on status at the end of each day, and did a stand out job.I looked at a lot of other companies in the DC area and finding someone to execute the project to spec was much more difficult than I thought it would be. I'm so glad to have found RumAV Solutions. Abdallh's an expert in his field, made great recommendations to improve my plans, patiently dealt with my scope creep, and went above and beyond my expectations. His pricing was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier!I had someone else work in the house before Abdallh, who also had to cut drywall. They likely cut 4x more than necessary. Abdallh spends the extra time to minimize cuts and the difference in how he treated my home (compared to how poorly the other person did) was eye opening. I would have Abdallh back to do more work anytime. Truly A+ service and quality work. (And be sure to ask for his recommended painter.)2023 Update:I used Rum AV again, and they were the only team I considered given how great they did in 2021. If you need home A/V or networking work done, look no further. If you have to wait a bit, Rum AV is worth the wait. There's a reason they are booked for so many projects. They have maintained their 5-star review. If I could leave more stars I would.Abdallh and his team completed a complex installation of a Refletel Mirror TV on a motorized Future Automation PSE90 articulating mount over a mantle. As always, their attention to detail was maticulous and their work is impecable. I am thrilled with the outcome. Abdallh is knowledgeable and patient, and he took the time to understand and plan how to achieve perfection with my project - which he did!As a side job during the same visit I needed 10 additional Ethernet patch cables run and he completed that work in less than 30 minutes, without making a mess of the walls.Rum AV is simply the best in the area.

These guys were great. I needed someone to run ethernet and AV cabling but planned to handle the rest of the work myself. They were happy to do exactly what I asked and didn't try to upsell me on anything. They were very careful in their work, managed some really long runs with minimal drywall cutting, took their time to make sure they were doing exactly what I wanted, and advised on a couple items where my plans weren't going to get me the best results. I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing low voltage cabling run and while I can't speak directly to their other services, I'd be confident they would do just as good a job on anything they'd take on.

I spent months interviewing AV companies for our major renovation and associated theater work. Most were either uninterested due to the work required or wanted an extreme amount of $$$ for the work AND stipulated all products (TV, etc.) must be purchased through them (so they could get a nice mark up). Abdallh at Rum AV Solutions was helpful and responsive from from day one and worked with me and the contractors to ensure everything was planned and implemented to our exacting standards. Abdallh even suggested if i could find components as a cheaper price than he could, he would have no issues with that or with installing them. The results were amazing! If you have AV needs, do not hesitate to contact Rum AV Solutions. Bypass the headache and inevitable buyers remorse of the big box stores and contact Abdallh. His work is amazing and his after installation responsiveness is even better!

Abdallh and the team at Rum AV should be your go to for home theater / networking. They are super professional, extremely fair and do very high quality work. They were able to diagnose and fix a number of networking related issues in our home. I have worked with MANY contractors over the years, as a builder and a homeowner and I can say that these guys are some of the best of the best.

I would highly recommend anyone planning on getting a home theater setup done in Northern Virginia area to get it done through RUM AV solutions. Abdallh is great and caters to whatever system requirements and budget you have to get the setup done. His team is professional and Abdallh works with you through every stage of the project.For my setup, he was available to look through the space where project needs to be done and also guided me on what speaker combinations will be better for the setup. I would be happy to refer RUM AV Solutions to my friends and also to someone who is looking to get clean and professional looking setup done for their home theater.

I couldn't possibly say enough good things about my experience with Rum AV Solutions; pure awesomeness. Abdallh visited my home to take a look at what I had and explore what I was looking for then got back to me a few days later with a couple of proposals (good, better & best basically). We went back and forth a few times via email so I could completely understand the differences and once I choose one the parts were ordered and the installation scheduled. It wasn't just installing some speakers though because I had a few custom asks such as moving and hiding wires in walls & cabinetry. He did a fantastic job and my place now looks and sounds waaay better. Highly, highly recommend this company.Side note, I called several other companies including some of the bigger players in the area, whom didn't even bother to respond or couldn't figure out how/when to schedule. Don't let them waste your time and just call Abdallh.

I had them come out and wall mount a couple TVs and run speaker cables in the wall/ceiling of our new house. They worked quickly and cleaned as they went along. All of the drywall cuts are clean and the cables are managed well. They even gave me a great price on in-ceiling surround speakers. I'm very happy we chose to go with them.

This company is fantastic and I can't recommend them highly enough. Hands down the best value for top quality work of all companies I researched in the DMV. Abdallh was a true professional from start to finish -- super responsive with a quote, quick to schedule, and most importantly made the entire installation process completely painless. Even though my space presented several challenges, he expertly figured out solutions to install my entire home theater setup exactly as I had envisioned. They worked all day until the job was done right -- no step was rushed, from the initial laser-precise alignment of speaker locations to the the final audio and projector calibration. It is very clearly a professional-grade installation. I was honestly nervous about hiring a AV company for this job (and even thought about attempting the installation myself) because I had received several estimates from other contractors that tacked on hundreds of dollars for every single line item, from installing a power outlet to hanging a projector screen. I was worried I'd end up spending more on installation than I did on equipment. Rum AV was the only company that assessed the job as a whole and gave me a straight estimate with the confidence they could deliver. In the end, they did the job much faster, much better, at a very fair price, and completely stress-free. Probably the best home improvement experience I've ever had.

Rum AV Solutions did an excellent job on the structured wiring project in our home. Abdallh provided a comprehensive walk through of the work and what to expect and was very communicative all the way up to the day of the install. Abdallh and his crew then arrived early and completed the project more quickly than what was estimated. The install is very professional and all of our cabling is clearly labeled and organized. I'll definitely be reaching back out to Rum AV for a television mounting project this year.

The set- up-----Asked for a quote from Rum Av Solutions for fixing my surround sound system and possible WIF extension. Abdallah contacted me within the day and scheduled a visit. At the visit he diagnosed the problem, did an interim fix ( got surround sound working) and said would send a quote for a permanent fix. He sent the quote a day later and we scheduled the service. He also looked at my WIF situation and suggested an extender fix that took money from his pocket and gave me the fix I needed. Abdallah and his assistant came out and in less than 2 h I had the system working and me trained. I have worked with several AV groups to try to keep my system running and updated ( 22 years and counting). I can say without reservation that Abdallah was the best experience yet. When he left, I had a working system with up-to date software control--AND I understood the system and once again have whole house sound and full use of my very expensive sound system. So if you are like me hesitant to engage AV solution folks because you have had not the best experiences-- based on my experience I would tell you don't worry - take the jump- Abdallah and Rum AV Solutions. quality service!
