I had the worst experience here. This pharmacy completely gave me wrong information and wasted my time just to save them the hassle of admitting that something had gone wrong on their end.First, I was told to come back in an hour because the medicine had just arrived to their store. Then when I came back, it turned out they didn't get the medicine in the order. That's fine, mistakes happen, orders are late. BUT instead of leaving it at that, this pharmacy tells me that I need to go to the South Lakes Safeway Pharmacy instead. I doubted this and questioned them about it, but was assured that I am supposed to go to South Lakes Safeway and that they have my medicine.So I go to the South Lakes Safeway Pharmacy and they have no clue about the prescription and don't have the medicine. After working out what happened, the South Lakes Pharmacist told me that the Hunter's Mill Pharmacy sends people to them like this all the time and it just frustrates everyone involved.

Just had the worst experience at the pharmacy. A patient was insulting the poor staff and throwing out racial slurs. I really hope management does something to support their employees. @ Cristina Landis @store director. No one deserves to be treated that way. The staff works hard to get patient medications ready and for them to get treated that way from a customer is insane. Customer even started insulting customers in line. Hope he gets banned.

I’m very dissatisfied with their Pharmacy staff. I received a call from the pharmacy stating that my husband’s medicine was ready to be picked up. My husband went to pick it up and to his surprise it was not ready nor do they remember calling me for pickup. He had to wait. Normally I wouldn’t write a review about this but it’s very disappointing how they treat their customers. Hopefully this pharmacy can learn to communicate with each other and their customers.

Summary,Micheal has the Miata’s touch.Some background:I hate shots. I had a terrible experience with them growing up and any time I get one I get a huge spike of anxiety and focus way to much on the pain of the needle.Micheal (the pharmacist at this pharmacy) is hands down bar none the best shot administrator I have ever had. He is amazing. I would probably drive an hour to get a shot from him. I didn’t even feel the needle. It was so light I found myself looking back at my arm to ensure I got “shot” lol.5/5 would recommend getting “shot” here

First I give 5 stars for the friendly staff 1 star for the store pharmacy itself as it is chronically understaffed You can not have 1 person working to *fill prescriptions, *run the register, *answer questions, *answer the phones, *give vaccinations *manage the paperwork *stock and manage pharmacy inventory A pharmacy this busy, this size needs a staff of at least 3 people It's always frustrating trying to reach them by phone, but recently we had two critical issues that highlighted how dangerous this issue can become. 1st - critical med, required daily, doctor sent in refill on a Friday morning, we waited for text it was ready to pick up that, that never came. Online it said "in process" for a few days, then the rx vanished like it never existed. We called them multiple times Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday with no answer. Called Dr on Wednesday so she called them via the prescriber phone line and was told they weren't able to get the prescription (this is not a new prescription). The pharmacy should have notified the doctor ASAP that they couldn't get the medicine. At least the doctor's phone call got answered Our 37 phone calls went answered 2nd - urgent medicine needed sent in by Dr to pharmacy. It showed online it would be ready by noon, 24 hours later it still says online the prescription is "in process", numerous calls to pharmacy go unanswered. A friend is picking up for us, but I can't send them to the store until I know the rx is ready to pick up and the cost. The only good thing is their online Medrefill system (which is tediously slow and omits important rx info like rx dates, refills, prices, etc). If not for that I would still be wondering if they even got the newest rx from the doctor. The rx in the first issue was online as "in process" for days, then vanished. They never called Dr or us to tell us they couldn't get the rx. On both of these the pharmacy was completely unreachable by phone, and during covid we shouldn't have to make unnecessary in person trips to the store.

Best neighborhood pharmacy around, willing to work with insurance companies and web-based coupons, fixes other pharmacy errors and manages it all with a helpful attitude even when their lines are backed up and some customer attitudes are less than friendly. Thanks for all the hard work guys, especially balancing flu and COVID shots with the regular pharmacy work.

UN-SafeWay. I'm glad I doubled up on my mask before entering the store. Workers installing a Starbucks have their masks under their noses. The guy putting chips & pretzels on the shelves has no mask on. When I entered the store someone was smoking out front with no mask. When I left an older customer walked in with no mask. As o checked out a customer walked right by two employees with his mask far below his nose, nothing was said to him. I'm sure most customers wear masks but it is the job of SAFEway to create a safe environment. I won't be returning there anytime soon. It should be called UNSafeway.

I love this Safeway! It is my favorite! Their employees are friendly! No wonder this place gets 2 stars but I rate it 5 stars. I would rate it infinite stars if I could. This store is also the closest to my house, but no matter what, it's the best! The part I don't like is the deli, meat, and pharmacy are understaffed. I wish it had more employees. Thank you Safeway for your help!

Always pretty clean and good customer service here. However, not very good at mandating face mask rules during this time. Just saw 2 different families walking around with children and none of the kids had masks on. The parents had masks that were only covering their mouth and not nose. Didn't see any employees approach them about this...smh.

They refused to honor good rx coupon and charged me 3x more. That is bad business. Medicaid covers most of my prescriptions. This one time I had to pay out of pocket I made the mistake of choosing Safeway based on the price shown on the coupon. I’ll be avoiding Safeway pharmacies altogether. Don’t care for being deceived. Ill find a pharmacy in the area that respects its customers since there’s dozens to choose from.
