Very professional and efficient! They pointed out the exact Ford Focus transmission issue and the recall. Unfortunately my car was not part of the recall from the manufacturer and dealership would not deal with that. Sterling Transmission helped me fixed the issue and replaced the TCM model. They are very communicative and professional!

Extremely knowledgeable and professional!I had gone to 2 different shops, one of them being my car dealer for diagnostics and quote. Both said I needed to replace the whole transmission and gave me a huge quote. After that, I decided to bring my car to Sterling transmission where Mauricio not only was able to pinpoint the issue to extreme precision but gave me multiple options to fixing it. Have all kinds of trouble with my car. I took the car here to get the transmission checked. Dealer had told me I might need a torque converted. Felt the Dealer was just trying to get 4k from me so wanted second opinion. Talked with owner who told me he would check. Car got a clean bill of health !!! The business could have gotten money from me but they were honest and sent me on my way. In today's world this business seems really great.Hope you do not need a transmission but if you do, these folks seem to want to give you want you need.Service: Transmission

Can't say enough positive comments about Sterling Transmission and the owner Maurice. I am new to the area and my 2007 Volvo xc90 AWD with 152k miles was experiencing transmission noise and rear end shudder. l chose Sterling Transmission based on overwhelming positive Google reviews. Maurice was cordial, welcoming and knowledgeable. Bottom line: He correctly diagnosed the issues and offered repair solutions at a reasonable price. I went to Sterling about a year ago for my 2014 Raptor Truck because it was not shifting all the time so well. So they test drove it saw the same thing happen to them. So the first thing he did was drop the transmission pan and fluid to see if there were any metal shavings and there were none. So he was very sure it was not the transmission itself but the transmission assembly because of the way it was shifting, he had seen this before he said he had Pontiac in at the time that had the same problem. They did not over charge me or waste time or immediately try to say it was the transmission to sale me on the idea on replacing or rebuilding a transmission. They were very polite and responded to everything I ask whether on the phone or in person and were very efficient and fast and my truck ran like new afterwords. I sense have recommended to many people on how good they are and to use them because they give really good service. I found Sterling Transmission on Google and was impressed by the reviews.I took my car there to be serviced and met Maurice who was mentioned in the reviews I read. He is such a wonderful ❤? person!He was very thorough in asking me SO many questions that made it very clear on what repairs were needed to be done.I recommend everyone, and the ladies too, to come here for service. An excellent place to take your car for transmission service. Talked to Maurice (the owner) and was very impressed with him checking the car thoroughly and identifying the problem. Appreciate the prompt and honest work he/the crew did. The transmission did not have to be replaced. The transmission lines were corroded and needed replacement. Will refer Sterling Transmission to friends/family and use in the future. Definitely deserve the 5 star for their workmanship and being very reasonable on the repair cost.
