I had a return to make and was made to feel very uncomfortable, despite all of the tamper-evident tags being attached to the items as well as having my original receipt. I was shopping for some accessories to wear to a wedding and purchased some earrings and a bracelet in the hope that theyād match my outfit. However, they didnāt quite work so I decided to take them back since they were in the pricier side. After waiting in line for several minutes, the cashier said that jewelry returns can only be made at the jewelry counter, despite the fact that no one was there? And instead of processing the return at her register, I had to wait while she paged a manager to come and help. The manager herself also made the transaction very awkward despite the fact that Iād bought the items the day before and despite seeing that all of the tags were still on and not altered at all. Just a very awkward and uncomfortable for no reason

Always a good time hunting at a Tj Maxx! Lines take forever per usual as well though. Especially during certain times of the day (afternoon, evenings, weekends) So come equipped with your patience and extra time. This is not a reflection on the associates as they are usually pleasant. But more registers should be open during high volume times. This shortage in staff probably is due to poor pay and low job satisfaction like most jobs these days. So it is what it is.

Iāve been a loyal customer to TJMaxx wherever I go and Iāve always love shopping here especially when I find some great treasure with great prices. Iāve recently moved to Herndon from Rockville. And this location is the closest one from my new home making it to be my āTJMaxx home locationā. Unfortunately, everything changed tonight. I was shopping for some new decor and beddings including candles. Sooo many great deals, red tags and clearance selections, I was having a great time. I couldnāt decide which ones to pick, so I decided in a lot of items to take home with me. Unfortunately, one person was following me around which made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable, and when I got to the line to cashier I waited for about 20 mins just for the girl named Faika that none of my candles were on sale and they were priced wrong, I literally had to grab another similar candle from clearance in the back from registration, just for her to āprice checkā again, made me wait another 10 to 15 mins in the register - with the biggest confusion on my face because I spent hours just to look around. And she said that it was priced wrong and cannot sell it to me. I came home so sad and uncomfortable. She also said, āIām just doing my job.ā I understand that, but if your associates can put the same effort making sure the prices are correct then there will no be issue. I will not be coming back to TJMaxx. My years of loyalty to this company has be ruined by untrained associates. Disappointed with Discriminatory Treatment I trust that you will take this matter seriously and respond promptly with measures to rectify the situation. Failure to do so will compel me to explore all available legal options to seek justice for the discrimination and mistreatment I endured at your store. My recent experience at the T.J.Maxx store located at 24630 Dulles Landing Dr,Dulles,VA 20166 left me feeling deeply disheartened and mistreated. Upon attempting to make a purchase, I requested a tax exemption, and the lady scanned everything and asked manager to come for tax examp. I provided all necessary documentation, including my valid LLC (EIN number) , driver licence, business credit /debit card, and my buisness phone number. I am deeply shaken by the traumatic experience I endured at the T.J.Maxx . As I stood at the checkout counter, I was met with extreme hostility and disdain from an employee named Brian, who I later learned was a manager at the store. Despite providing all necessary identification and payment, Brian refused to process my transaction and instead threatened to call the police. I asked him to check with TJ Max corperation office but he ignored me. Near all customers he treated me so unrespectable. The situation quickly escalated, and I found myself on the verge of tears, trembling with stress and discomfort. Brian's unwarranted aggression made me feel as though I had done something terribly wrong, when in reality, I was simply trying to complete a purchase like any other customer. Feeling unjustly targeted and humiliated, I stood my ground and told Brian to go ahead and call the police. I wanted them to witness firsthand that I had done nothing to warrant such treatment. The thought of involving law enforcement in a situation where I had done nothing wrong only added to my distress and discomfort. This incident has left me deeply traumatized and has shattered my confidence in T.J.Maxx as a safe and welcoming place to shop. No customer should ever be made to feel as though they are a criminal simply for attempting to make a purchase. I implore T.J.Maxx to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter, take appropriate disciplinary action against Brian, and provide comprehensive training for all staff members on how to handle customer interactions with professionalism and respect. This treatment was not only unprofessional but also discriminatory, as I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong simply for requesting a legitimate tax exemption. All of my documentation is legal and valid, yet I was subjected to ridicule and scrutiny by a member of your staff. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of respect and professionalism displayed by Brian and demand accountability from T.J.Maxx for condoning such behavior. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or treated unfairly based on their lawful requests. I urge T.J.Maxx to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, provide appropriate training for all staff members on customer service and inclusivity, and take decisive action to ensure that instances of discrimination and mistreatment are promptly addressed. Until meaningful steps are taken to rectify these issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend T.J.Maxx to others. It is my hope that by sharing my experience, positive change can be enacted within your organization to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
