Quiet , peaceful, very nice walk. Parallels the Mayo River. Benches and picnic tables with plenty of parking. Great place for a quick stroll or power walk.

The Rail Trail is one of the most peaceful places to walk in Patrick County, with it being beside of a river making it better.Picnic area: The picnic area is shaded and beside of the parking lot, so it's easily accessible and cool to sit and eat!

My child loves walking this trail. You will find a hand shaped chair along the way. Access to the river where you may dip your toes in on those hot summer daysDog-friendliness: You can walk your dog in this trail there are some nifty little places to stop off along this trail.Picnic area: It's a quiet little area that offers several places to take advantage of the shade throughout the day.

The map roads are inaccurate but the park is gorgeous. The grounds are well cared for and the pathway is concrete and handicap accessible. It is a wonderful place to take your family for a beautiful Riverview walk.
