I have always had good experiences at this store replacing key fob, watch and phone batteries. Yesterday, the employee went above and beyond by resolving a problem with the sim card slot on my phone. Well done, and much appreciated!

Came in for key fob battery replacement, they had sign posted batteries for life while this is a great deal I gave 2 stars for the fact sales associate broke the battery storage for the fob in 2 places one on the side of the housing and one where the battery actually goes into to function as I waited he grab tape another associated told him to use a different tape for batteries. He returned back into sight with my fob and proceeds to say that he put tape on my broken slots. The key didn’t have any broken spots prior how do I know because before I came in while at work my co worker stated he had extra battery when I mentioned I’d be replacing my battery today I removed covering and saw that his battery was a different model and I drove straight to batteries plus. When I walked outside the rigged key fob had opened my trunk and did it several times before I made it home every stop my trunk was opened due to Tape compressing button! I filed down internal but the crazy part about it this was the second time in less than a week I’ve had someone return something broken to me first was AAMCO they replaced my transmission and in process unaligned my steering wheel customer service post Covid is absolutely terrible! By the way I’m taking my car back to AAMCO for fix Friday. I’ll wait on my replacement fob lol but seriously I’m not a satisfied customer!

Battery Plus on College Drive in Suffolk Va. has some outstanding emplyees. If have a question or problem they handle it. I mostly order motorcycle battery’s from them. Last time my coupon not working online, I called they said (and did) take care of it at the store.
I live in Hampton Va and drive to Suffolk store because of their service. Use to go to Hampton store but they stop caring about customers needs and act like they are being bothered to help you. I talked to District Manger, they didn’t seem interested. I know stores are Franchised, so glad I found the Suffolk location.

My 4 year old cellphone stopped charging, took it to this store for a new battery. The new battery would not take a charge. Samantha, the store Mgr diagnosed the problem as probably a bad charging port, ordered a new one and in a couple days called me to pick up my properly working cellphone! Samantha B. and the employees at this store demonstrate the epitome of customer service! Their efforts and knowledge saved me the cost of a new phone for less than $100. Very pleased and grateful for their service and customer service!! Highly recommend this business!!

I was there today to get a truck battery replaced. Very frustrating! The technician couldn’t operate a socket wrench! I mean he had no clue!The battery didn’t fit the situation even though the company said perfect fit battery.,I had them reinstall my old battery and drove away!Wont go back!

Batteries Plus in Suffolk has recently helped me with a key fob issue. The service at Batteries Plus and this particular location in Suffolk is always quick, the technicians are very knowledgeable, and respectful. There are literally 15 places within driving distance at my house where I can get a replacement battery for my 2019 Mitsubishi Murano. I got up early and removed the old battery not without some difficulty in the cold weather. Put it in the back of my SUV and drove to Batteries Plus. I got here at 10 after eight 8 o’clock in the morning. The website said they open at 8AM. The sign on the door says they open at 8AM. No one home. I waited for 10 more minutes.I’m not in the mood to listen to excuses from businesses anymore. If you are selling a product or service, that is a rare commodity, you can afford to be sloppy in this case you lost my business. Might come back again sometime, but probably not.

Sam's a great manager! I ordered a key because I broke my spare. She cut a new one and tried it on my vehicle.It was snagging on one side, so she went in and out of the store several times to shave it. I also parked a bit far since the other spaces were taken.After many attempts, she gave me the key for FREE! On one side, it works well enough for the door and perfectly for the ignition.It was sweet of her because she took at least 20 minutes of her time to help me and ordered the key from another store since it wasn't in stock.
