My experience with Hampton Roads Moving and Storage from start to end was wonderful. The cordial attention in the phone, the detail oriented inventory, the accurate estimate, the care of my furniture, the tracking updates of my furniture, the kindness of the people packing and bringing my items, and the overall price for service compare to other companies made this a stress free moving experience for me. I appreciate the great job this company did and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

Juan and the crew that moved my office were very professional and efficient, they get a 5-star rating, they moved and set me up in my new office space perfectly and moved furniture into my previous office space as well. I am very pleased with the service we received. Thank you

Reviewing following packing for cross country move. Will update after unpacking if anything is unsat but I doubt anything will be. Jay and Corey (pretty sure their names but terrible with names so apologies if I’m off) were friendly, professional, motivated, and efficient. Very communicative to ensure everything was taken care of as we needed. Would definitely recommend!

I didn't hire them, but our new neighbors in our apartment did. The crew smashed our front door glass. They've been shouting profanity in the hallway all day and giggling while clumsily dropping heavy furniture. I pity whoever our neighbors are, i'm pretty sure their stuff is DESTROYED. They left trash outside and inside the building. No respect for other people, shameful.

I’ve been a truck driver for 15 years now and load/unloaded from countless moving companies so far. This has got to be one of the best places I had to unload at. Professional crew, great staff at the office e , smiling faces and everything looks clean, well organized and exactly how you would want your staff to be treated when moving.
They take good care of their working people and outside drivers, and I know from experience that this is the kind of attitude that later rolls over to the customers. When everyone is happy with their employers they do better a job.
Keep it up guys!!! I’m really impressed. It was a pleasure to be in your facility.

TJ and his crew did an amazing job wrapping and packing our furniture. He was professional, patient and kind which made the move so much smoother for my family. This was an emotional step for my mother. We were moving her out of her home, but TJ and his crew found a way to make her laugh and be comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend Hampton Roads Moving Company. They are the way to go for sure.

This was the most horrible moving experience. First, they sent one girl to pack an entire 3 bedroom house. It was supposed to be done in one day. It took 2 full days. The loaders came and were over 2 hours late and refused to park in front of the house. Yes, there was pllllenty of room. They disappeared for a lunch break without communicating while under our responsibility on the military base. They fought loudly, with profanity, in front of our 3 year old. They had to take 2 loads from va to GA because they didn't book the correct size truck. The driver admitted that he was partially blind with glaucoma. Several furniture items were broken. Brand new furniture missing parts, totally gaslighting us. These people should not be allowed on base ever again.

The folks at HRMS were able to help me with a move on very short notice. They were very responsive, and the whole process, from quote prep to execution on move in day went very smoothly. The movers were professional, fast, and very careful about wrapping my belongings to avoid damage. Moving is stressful - these folks made it a little easier.
