In this day and time, customer service is a thing of the past, at Starr motors it is priority 1. I had a lift, rims and tires installed on my 2023 F150 and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Ms. Debbie in the service/parts dept. was remarkable to work with, her knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail was priceless. The used car manager CJ made it a point to keep me informed of the progress each day as did Debbie. I highly recommend buying and/or servicing your vehicles at Starr motors, quality business managed by quality people.

Service center is not what it used to be. Dropped off Jeep for an appointment at 7:30a, was told it will be done by end of day. Rented a car so I could get to work. Rental staff is very nice. Called at noon for an update, nothing. Called again at 3p, letting them know again I get off at 4p, am I going to the dealership or home (hour away)? Finally was told the tech had to leave and it's not done. They ended up having it the whole next day too and because their tech left I had rental car for an extra day and they wouldn't cover that extra day. Really? $33 is too much for good customer service? I'm hesitant on going back.

Useless to have an appointment scheduler on your website that let's me select what I need done, then tells me that I'm all set for that time. Only to be told it's first come, first serve in the morning after I arrive for that supposedly scheduled appointment.

So i went there to get my truck aligned and it is on a 7-9 lift kit so i understand that it is harder to align than other vehicles but not impossible but it came out with the passenger wheel toed in and had negative camber and the driver side just had negative camber i have now fixed the driver side and im still working on the passenger side and just found my camber plates on the cam bolts to the upper control arm flipped upside down IF YOU KNOW WHATS BEST DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY MAINTENANCE i asked to talk with the technician who does alignments and he came out and showed me the sheets of the alignment and all they fixed or tried to fix was the toe in my wheels all of this took 2 hours when they said it would take 1 which i understand stuff could go wrong and it could take longer but how did they manage to take longer and make it worse also the customer service i received was not up to par either where when i first got there the lady i talked with she acted like she didn’t want me there as she ignored some of my questions and just had a bad attitude no part of my experience was good HIGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Had to rent a car for a funeral and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating they only required 2 pay stubs 6 months apart and a deposit, no credit check will definitely use them again

Great place to purchase a vehicle. From the salesman Danny to the finance guy Brad they made the experience smooth as possible. Not pushy and don't try to sell you anything you ain't interested in. Definitely made a customer for life with me! I'm loving my new Ram 1500!

Brought my car to them for an alignment and tire rotation picked it up that day and immediately noticed alignment wasn’t done correctly. So called them went back to the next day dropped car off all day again- this time they called me mid day and suggested a road force test (I said okay do it) picked it up and same thing alignment was pulling. I’m in &300 at this point… Got home and by 11 o’clock that night one of my tires had completely separated from my rim. Called them first thing Saturday morning they said there was nothing they could do beside me pay for a rental and have it towed to the dealership. They were closed Sunday so o had it towed first thing Monday morning go to pick it up that afternoon and they tried to charge me for fixing their mistake AND the tow (another $140) I was livid. The service technician tried to say my tire separated from my rim bc of my after market stem valve caps… spoke with the manager who understood my emotional state at that time he told them to give me my Keys and wanted to make it right… but I will never bring my car there again… AWFUL EXPERIENCE! The manager gave me hope in this situation so thank you for that but I won’t be coming back EVER!

0 stars if I could because I called over the phone the day before I went there, and they said they were hiring come in the store, for a quicker way to get hired. I called , they said “ well the position you’re applying for is gone. So I put in the position that I seen were open before I went in there. Mind you I have an amazing resume to be my age because I have a lot of experience for everything they were hiring for. So I go in there they get the manager so she says “I’ll call you back for an interview date” I don’t stay near there 38 minutes away. So the following day, they sent a letter saying they not accepting me. I think it’s racism . An I kind of figured that out wayyyy before I walked in there. I know now though, so if you’re colored don’t bother they will ignore you.

Starr motors is not what it used to be , we have purchased four vehicles from here and sadly to say we will not be back after the interaction today. After we were discriminated against and accused of wanting free tires by Jim. —when all we wanted to know was the reasonings for the suggestions to get three new tires, an alignment and a carbon filter for a ram truck that my husband purchased from THE dealership with extremely low mileage barely a year ago. — that he BARELY drives. We brought the truck back today for a tire, that we were aware that we ran over something and it ruined the tire but then we were advised by Lisa who was extremely rude that my husband needed three new tires instead of one?An alignment and a carbon filter. The service advisor could not tell us what was wrong with the other two tires, and she went on to mention that she wasn’t the tech? — but you’re delivering the message? —we asked to speak with someone that could explain the reasonings for the three new tires, alignment and carbon filter. And we were later called by Jim, who accused us of wanting three free tires. I am completely shocked at how we were talked to by Jim, and especially as a customer a repeated customer at that. A customer that advocates for Starr Motors, and refers people to the dealership. But we eventually got CJ who was PHENOMENAL, explained the reasonings and we completed our purchase. — which we were going to do in the beginning but we just wanted to know what we were purchasing and why we needed the above items. However if we had not gotten CJ on the line, our ram truck would have been towed to jeep southern in Norfolk for the maintenance that was completed today. I am very disappointed with how we were treated, but it’s okay we will not be back. Thanks CJ, your customer service is unmatched they’re truly blessed to have you

the wonderful sales experience, friendly sales men, friendly customer service and shopping experience and for the years to come after and during the maintenance and upkeep, i recommend Starr motors to all my friends and family. We have returned and bought 6 cars in 5 years. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. If the dont have it, they will go and get it for you.
