This post office can't seem to keep a carrier for route 16. We may get mail once every week or two. I went there and spoke to the manager. She told me that they are short staffed. I asked her if she could pull my mail and she said they were not allowed to do that. I called the consumer affairs department and filed a complaint via the USPS website. I have informed delivery set up and according to those notifications, Im missing mail from 3 weeks ago

0 stars for the past 3 months I’ve had to go pick up my mail because it’s not being delivered. I filed a complaint and they delivered for 2 days then stopped again. The last time I went in there Garrett “the office manager” went back and forth with me telling me that my mail was on the truck. I asked him to please double check and he came out with 12 pieces of mail. No apologies instead he told me I was being rude and condescending to him, that confused me because all I did was ask for my mail that his office is failing to deliver. I don’t know what needs to happen but something does because this post office is terrible.

The worst - my leasing office and I have been trying to contact the post office since November 2024 to get a new mailbox key for my personal use. They have ignored all the attempts made by the leasing office and myself.
I have not been able to access my mail since I moved in, in November 2024. I have been unable to receive checks that I need to cash, sentimental holiday cards sent to me by family and friends, my W-2’s, a magazine subscription I paid for prior to moving in here, and other things that remain a mystery because I am being denied access to my mailbox by the post office.
My online help requests are closed out as “completed” and I have never received a phone call, email, text, knock at the door, or carrier pigeon to ask how I can be assisted or the steps I need to take to retrieve a new key to access *MY* federal mail.

Worst service ever. Dropped off a packet on Friday August 8th, 2025 at 2:33pm to ship and was rudely treated and yelled at by an employee. When she asked me to verify the address I was trying to do so but was constantly being rushed and rudely spoken to. There was not a single person in line at the time. When the service satisfactory survey came up, before I got the chance to even choose, the employee forcefully took over and pressed excellent for her own service. This is crazy and never seen before. If I can report her I would. She aggressively and rudely talked back when I kindly asked if I could take a quick picture of my packet. It was an easy yes or no question, however she has to say a bunch of stuff and made a face while saying no in the end. She also threw my packet.

Mailed a letter to my son from NC to Suffolk Va on July 14, they still haven’t gotten the letter as of August 5th!!! The last time I mailed him something before that it took 14 days! They will be reported to a congressman who represents that area!

The last time I got mail was 9 days ago. I'm still waiting for a package that was sent to me twicw from s siding company in APRIL 2025. i never received it. Lenox area. Last Saturday, today is Saturday, no mail delivered all week. Why? did we lose the carrier again? Again, now, June 2025, 9 days without mail, all you see is the package carrier. We get the carrier 1 day in 3 weeks. If the postal services in Suffolk either shape up or close the building.

Multiple times they have either failed to deliver mail ( our refund check which resulted in both fines and costs with the City of Suffolk - don't trust the City Tteasurers office by the way), my heart medications being delivered to the wrong address and missing for 3 days (found by our regular driver) and now a College Certificate that my wife earned after 43 years and two heart transplants is marked as delivered (like my heart medications) when no such delivery was made here. Counter employees have a poor to negative attitude.

The worst post office ever. I haven't received mail in over a week. 18 pieces of mail missing Informed delivery says Im supposed to have. I have reached out to consumer affairs as well waiting on a call. I went in to the postal office and they keep saying the routes are split up. I watched a carrier come out once this week just to drop off a package to my neighbor. There is 8 units here no one else received anything. I go there show my i.d my mail isn't there and nobody has answers if where my mail is. This is by far the worst service ever. Someone needs to at least ask mail carrier why are they not coming out here. There is nothing blocking the way or no damages. No reason I shouldn't be receiving my mail

It was the first time I'd been there it was slightly confusing because there are two sets of doors and one of them inside has a mirror finish for some reason so you don't know when someone else is trying to come out as you're trying to go in it so I definitely almost hit someone both times going in and out I was scared because the reviews for this place sound absolutely horrible but I didn't have a problem and the people seemed nice but I could have just gotten lucky so I don't know we'll see hopefully the package gets to its destination and if so then I won't be able to say anything bad except for they need to get rid of their mirror doors because it's an extremely dangerous and stupid thing to have

Paid extra to have a package delivered early. Supposed to have been here on Monday It is now Thursday and no package. It left Richmond to go to Suffolk on Monday, It shows Suffolk hasn't scanned it in yet So it is probably sitting on their dock. The postmaster of Suffolk was removed from an outlying county because of her bad performance And complaints. Looks like she brought her great qualities to Suffolk.

I mailed a prepaid package to return my glucose monitor back to the manufacturer for a refund. Three weeks later the manufacturer company contacted to let me know the never received the prepaid package. This is criminal behavior of a US Post Office. Someone should be held accountable for missing packages.

Doesnt know how to answer a phone, constantly having mail misdelivered and lost.
Would be better without a Post Office.
Update: packages are being marked for incorrect reason because they cant be bothered to look for house numbers.
We don't need USPS anymore, they are outdated and trashy
