****Update!!! I transferred my daughters seizure medications to the Walgreens in Newport News, VA, Jefferson & Denbigh Blvd… The staff is so much nicer!!!
Walgreens in Suffolk, VA on Bridge Road have some of the rudest, unprofessional Pharmacy Clerks that I have encountered. I will be moving my prescriptions and business to Rite Aid at this point. They hang up on you, they do not welcome you when you arrive at the Drive Thru. So whomever was working on 1/19/25, you need another profession. I work every week to afford my State paycheck to be able to have insurance and pay out of pocket for my family’s prescriptions. So if Sunday, January 19, 2025 was a day you did not want to provide services that you got hired for, QUIT!! Walgreens #10332

Always very rude!! They forget to give you all your prescriptions. This pharmacy sucks!! Workers act like they are being made to work there.

Do not ever take your package for FedEx to them. I took my package there two weeks ago. No one has seen it. I never got my refund back from the place that I got the parts from for my car. This is very unsatisfactory. It had to be from them because that’s where it originated and FedEx said they have no package.

I would give them a zero if I could. Terrible service at the pharmacy. They don’t answer the phone and wait for you to call before filling prescriptions.

They have closed down their pharmacy so it's basically a convenience store.

They are supposed to take lunch break between 1:30 - 2:00 pm. Got there @ 1:15 and pharmacy was closed. Very frustrating. Not the 1st time this happened.

Bridge Road Walgreens worth the drive-clean, stocked, and friendly employees.

Worst customer service I've ever had in my life. And I'm old. DO NOT drop off your fedex package here. Or get your medications. Or buy anything.

Placed an order online and called 3 hours later to check on availability for pickup and they told me their machine was down. I wish they had the common courtesy to at least call and notify me.

***GO TO CVS on High Street!!!***
Save yourself the trip. The customer service is abysmal. You'll be happier heading down to High Street in Portsmouth.
SKIP WALGREENS ALTOGETHER! Especially the Bridge Rd location. The pharmacist Ilene is very unprofessional and so is her team. They fail to handle BASIC customer service issues and lack the skill to deliver compassionate service to customers they serve.
I've filed a formal complaint with corporate. Meanwhile, I do not recommend them AT ALL. Not even for a bag of chips.

I had the distinct displeasure of working at this store for several months in 2023. The sad fact of the matter is that the retail operation in place at this location is very corrupt. In fact, it is one of the sickest retail operations I have had the misfortune of witnessing in my entire life. The store manager at the time that I worked there is an incredibly nasty person, devoid of any basic kindness, compassion, or understanding and, sadly, these ways characterize her management of the store and even trickle down to those working beneath her, many of whom I am actually inclined to care about. Sadly, however, these employees either seemed too afraid of the store manager or too (blissfully) ignorant to counteract the madness on display at this store. The abuse that I endured while employed there is completely unacceptable. Whatever you do, do not give your money to this corrupt retail operation. The best thing that could possibly happen for nearly every employee that works there, frankly, is for the store to fail completely so that they can all get jobs in more hospitable environments. Avoid at all costs.
