Stayed for the couples weekend in the bunkhouse, my wife and I had a wonderful time. Dwight and crew run a fantastic operation. If you're looking for a weekend getaway to ride horses, and relax in the Virginia countryside, look no further.

Dwight took us on a beautiful ride through the Geo. Washington National Forest. The horses were nice were well taken care of and trustworthy. It was a great time.

We had a wonderful trail ride through the forest. Dwight and Elisa were so nice, the horses were sweet and gentle, so perfect for someone like my daughter who gad never been on a horse before. I love walking in the mountains, but going through the shady trail, through streams and across sunny openings between the trees was magical on a horse. I would definitely go back and have this experience again!

10 women came together to experience an amazing journey during our week of the Ultimate Cowgirl Adventure. We were treated with First Class western accommodations and three meals each day that had us rolling out the door. The rides up into the mountains on well behaved and capable horses was a dream come true. Our hosts were gracious and a LOT of fun!! I can’t wait to come back and do it all again!!Nearby activities: We were treated to a visit to a well know Winery. We also learned to Skeet Shoot at the Shenandoah Gun Club after riding our horses over and up the mountains.Safety: All horses were well mannered. Wranglers took very good care of all of up.Food & drinks: Read my review above.

Best vacation getaway. Everything was amazing.Rooms: Rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable.Safety: They are very concerned with the safety of their guest and felt comfortable in all activities.Food & drinks: All the food served was delicious. They even accommodated those with feed sensitivity.Noteworthy details: Everyone that works at the ranch are exceptional and made the stay there great.

Dwight is such a nice guy and his place is beautiful. Kelsey took us out on the trail and it was peaceful and relaxing. The horses there are worth their weight in gold, so sweet and calm. If you care about how the horses are treated then this is place to go. We have our own horses so I can speak with knowledge when I say Dwight really cares for his. This place is a rare gem. Thanks so much Dwight and Kelsey!!

Absolutely amazing!!! One of the most relaxing and enjoyable weekends I have ever had. Good food, most comfortable bed ever, friendly people. The horses are so well cared-for and well-trained. A REAL trail ride. Dwight Wood runs a class act.

Perfect weekend with friends. Easy drive to a remote location. Cabin was spectacular! Even better then photos. Absolutely loved the decor. Super comfortable beds. Great front porch and hot tub. I can not say enough good things about this place. The riding was so good. Well trained horses didn't miss a beat. Super friendly family ran establishment. I can not wait to go back!!

My wife and I have been there twice. This place is awesome. A beautiful little piece of heaven. Dewight is the best. His love for what he does shows in everything from the horses to the beautiful view and great rides. The horses here are very well taken care of and are gentle. The grounds around the bunkhouse are well kept and the bunkhouse itself is great. I recommend a overnight stay. It is so relaxing. What a way to forget about the world for a bit and just relax. Do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it. Ohh and say hi to John Boy for me.
