504 S Church Ln, TappahannockI was taking my favorite leisurely route home to the DMV via Rt.17 and stopped in for lunch. It was moderately busy at noon when I walked in and grabbed a small table by the window. Service was great, the coffee amazing, and I enjoyed the Rueben panini with sweet potato fries and a flat white.

1405 Tappahannock Blvd, TappahannockBrand spanking new Starbucks. Or close enough. I went thru the drive thru and this is now my global icon of a homogenous experience. Nothing special, but welcomingly predictable and on point. Hard to do that a billion times, but this place does it. You want a Latte, here it is. Fast and a global standard. Did it well for me. Thanks! And I enjoyed the holiday colors.
