Tappahannock Veterinary Hospital is a well-established veterinary clinic that has been serving the local community for over 30 years. The clinic is known for its compassionate care, especially during difficult times when pets need their final visit or pass away. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are considered fair and affordable, especially in comparison to other veterinary services in the region. Recently, the clinic has gained praise for its effective treatments and caring approach. Dr. Wilkins, in particular, has been recognized for successfully treating animals with conditions like strokes, giving pets oxygen, IVs, and medications, which have helped them recover and return to normal activities. The clinic operates on a walk-in basis, and while wait times can be long at times, the staff works hard to accommodate clients. The team is committed to providing quality care for animals, offering services like vaccinations, nail trims, and tests such as heartworm checks. Many pet owners appreciate the affordable prices, often paying under $100 for exams, tests, and medications. Overall, Tappahannock Veterinary Hospital remains a reliable and affordable choice for pet owners in the area, with a caring, professional team dedicated to animal health and well-being.
