I had two prescriptions. One of which would’ve been $700 retail. Fortunately, I had insurance. After they processed my insurance - my insurance declined the prescription. So I had to call the insurance company and found out I had presented an old ID card. Anyway, they were very patient with me and spoke with my insurance company to verify my insurance and the correct ID number. Then … the insurance only covered $320. One of the pharmacy staff then told me to apply online with the drug company. I sat down again and immediately qualified for a discount. Drug now cost $10 per month (after insurance)! I would’ve never asked about any options as I’m new to the monthly prescription process. I was so grateful for the GREAT service at Walgreens in Tappahannock. I’ll be back!!

This month has been the worst so far in attempts to pickup my family’s medications at this pharmacy. In addition to having no more weekend availability, the pharmacy hours make it difficult for me to pick them up. Both medications were lost that were sent to this pharmacy in the past two weeks. If the nightmare that I’m experiencing is happening to everyone else, this store won’t be open for much longer. This store’s significantly reduced hours for over 6 months and constant errors will most certainly mark the beginning of the end.

The pharmacy has continued to decline over the past year. Med count of bottles proved I had too many one time, and another time I didn't have enough. It was reported both times and brought to their attention. Store has cut pharmacy hours to be closed on weekends. Refills are always late and app is not helping with that. It's a shame because this was my favorite pharmacy. I knew everyone in there and they knew me. It's sad how bad this place has gotten. I had to transfer my medications (which is quite a bit)and no easy task. Hope Walmart treats me better because this nightmare of just getting my medications has to end. I am done here.
