“My wife and I have been renting a unit with Truly Safe for awhile, I am from the area and my family has rented units in the past with Nandua Storage the New Owners have superior customer service. The facility offers a gate that opens by a keypad . Other storage companies here on the Eastern Shore on the norm have a gated facility with an open gate that requires nothing to enter and have no one watching the facility.
Where as Truly Safe has the coded gate as well as a lawn care team that seems to come weekly they are always there maintaining the property grounds . On the back end of the storage units and along the right side of the property they offer outdoor parking spaces where local businesses trust them for the storage of their work Trucks, as well as the average joe just storing an extra car or truck or the family Pontoon Boat that would take up the entire driveway or yard at home. It's a safe spot for your Rv or Campers during the off season so you don't have neighbors complain about your recreational vehicle while it's stored for the winter.
If you need a more regulated tempature for storing items that would be damaged from the heat or cold they offer climate control units in a private section of the facility that can only be entered by going through doors with cameras on both ends ensuring that anyone that enters that part of the facility is on camera Coming and Going making your unit and the stuff you placed there even more secure and tempature controlled.
The Standard storage units on the site are all drive up with rolling doors. I have personally seen a man cleaning a few units inside.
I do have a recommendation I personally took a broom and swept the cobwebs off mine and my wife's unit door but I also swept them off the other unit doors of the tenants around ours so that the spiders didn't get comfortable there. The area is known to have a lot of spiders it's not the facility it's nature. The facility is located in a large fenced in field next to the woods.Where spiders tend to live and breed. Though I have seen some massive Webs on some doors . I have not encountered many spiders inside the unit. My wife would stand on a chair and scream until I could come save her from the tiny little spider that is smaller than her big toe. However she sees it and in her mind it's the size of a horse. So if the facility units had to many spiders she would never enter the unit. However she has no issues with any insects or rodents there.
There is not any public parking places that I know of if you have a unit with in the facility you drive up to your unit.
I have never personally seen anyone working in the office at the front by the gate however the customer service received online and by phone are far better then I have ever received in the office of a storage facility.
