Over the past 6-12 months, this pharmacy had made consistent "mistakes" that are inexcusable. They cannot keep track of their orders. The lines are backed up halfway through the store and I have never once walked in when the pharmacist does not have prescriptions ready that are necessary for their customers health. They are receiving constant complaints from customers in store and all around social media. On top of everything, Virginia law states that certain medications may be refilled up to three days early but according to CVS "store policy," The pharmacist, who I spoke directly with, now says two days when I have previously had no issues refilling my medications 3 days early. Today they have lost my business and I recommend to everyone that is having trouble with this pharmacy to take their business elsewhere. Many other companies would love your business and in my opinion, cvs does not.

What are we supposed to do when we run out of vital medication’s?
The phone stay’s off the hook and rings busy. Medication is being filled extremely late. This is no longer just a inconvenience. This is causing life threatening situations for families.

This isn’t the staff’s fault and this review doesn’t apply to them.
Pharmacy closes early without warning (other than a sign in store). I called and got a normal IVR and chose the appropriate selection . During my 50 minute hold, the pharmacy closed. I only found this out by calling from a different phone and receiving a new IVR message that the pharmacy was closed. Had I not called from a different line, I would have been on hold for hours.
I would rather drive 30 minutes to a CVS in a different city than to deal with this understaffed store. Whoever makes the hiring decisions need to get in the ball and either pull people from other stores, offer sign on bonuses, or something.
Hiring is one thing — retention is another. Baby steps though …

Went by to pick up a refill on some medications. The guy asked for my name and date of birth. Then proceeded to tell me they had no record of me ever having prescriptions at CVS. I told the guy it was a refill and that I had been picking it up here for several months now.
Guy said if I was to bring in my prescription, they would try to fill it with in 10-14 business days. Once again, I told him it was a refill that I had been picking it up at CVS for several months now.
The guy then said unless you have a prescription, we cannot help you. I have tried for over a week now to call CVS Pharmacy to resolve this issue. No one answers the phone and no way to leave a message. With customer service like this before long they will be out of business.
Stay far away as possible. Do not recommend.

The staff here are top notch. Always clean and courteous with me. The manager and pharmacist are always super helpful
