Such a great owner and wonderful little shop. I go caught in the rain amidst a 66 mile gravel ride and stopped here to take refuge. I was unprepared and didn't have a rain jacket or vest. The owner gave me two older vests to stay warm for FREE. He saved my ride and the day. I'll be stopping here every time I'm in the area now for coffee.

I haven't been to the shop, but I'm giving it five stars for my experience this evening. I had two flat tires 18 miles from my car and didn't have enough CO2. I called the closest bike shop, this one, and asked for help. Without missing a beat, they agreed to come with a bike pump and were happy to do it. I can't thank them enough. Next time I'm in the area, I will buy a lot of CO2 cartridges from them!

I drove out from DC to ride the beautiful surrounding area of Marshall, VA. However, I forgot my shoes in DC and needed to remedy the situation.I found this bike studio on Google and was only 4 miles from Marshall. They were listed as opening at noon and it was only 9:30a but it was our best shot of grabbing shoes before having to call the ride. I arrived at Haymarket Bicycle Studios and waited until about ~11am when the first shop employee came in. He was happy to help me before official business hours and was able to get me rolling again after a quick purchase of shoes and pedals (including cleats).They saved the day and it was a great experience dealing with the initial shop employee and then the owner Jared. Would 10/10 recommend the bike studio or their sister shop, Haymarket Bicycles, to anyone in need of bicycle service!Thanks again for the great service.

This is a great local small business. I spoke with the owner over the phone then brought my daughters bike in today. He was knowledgable and printed out estimate and doing what they can to get it back in less than a week (it needed a lot of work). More to report later....

Super cool, friendly, helpful people. They got me set up with my 2018 Trek Domane. They're collocated with Happy Creek Coffee and Tea so it's a great place for cyclists to meet before and after a ride.

Jared and his crew really know their stuff when it comes to cycling and equipment. Retail and service. A great coffee shop shares the space so you can get your caffeine fix before or after your hit the roads in the bucolic rolling hills that are The Plains and surrounding areas.

I've worked with Jared on several fits for TT and road bikes and every time have left more comfortable and powerful. His attention to detail is incredible and he is personally responsible for my ability to ride without back and wrist pain. Couldn't recommend enough.

Haymarket Bicycles is a great shop with great people. The Plains location offers bike fitting services and Jared definitely improved my riding experience by solving my issues with shoulder pain in the bike. Plus, there is fantastic coffee available.

Took my two bikes today to be tuned up and looked at since I didn't go out biking much last summer , the place was super cool , they have the best coffee ever ( done by DJ ) !!! Izzac did a great job for a reasonable price plus he was quick !! I will definitely come back again ..

I think they are terrific. They know what they are doing. They did a great job tuning up my bike. The space is awesome and you can get a great Latte at the same time. Love it! I think they should get a large screen TV and hold a Tour de France party each year!
