I would suggest that anyone needing ANYTHING fishing related use this establishment! You won't find a more honest, ethical, friendly, customer oriented business than Fishing Pro Tech!
What this man did yesterday I would have bet my last dollar that no one in this world would ever do. I am still in shock and awe! Arrangements were made with the owner for me to pick up a fishing rod for a friend. I had to travel 1 1/2 hours to get this particular fishing rod. I go there and the place was closed. I waited an hour and 40 minutes and left. Arrangements were made again for me to pick up this fishing rod. I called several times yesterday and he didn't open till after 10am. I wanted to leave here and be at 9:30am and back here by 11am or so. Now my day just got pushed back another 2 hours. I finally got ahold of him, and he said he's there and will be till closing, that he's very sorry for the trouble I've gone through for this. When I gave him the money for the rod. He asked me how much money was spent on gas for these 2 trips. I told him $120 and 6 hours traveling for both trips. He gave me the fishing rod and I gave him the money for it. What he did then shocked me to my core!!! He gives me back every dollar I just gave him AND the fishing rod. He said he was very sorry for all the gas and trouble I had to go through. Here's the thing, this man had an emergency medical issue. The way this all went down was NOT any fault of the owner in any way! He could have said I'm sorry and kept the money. It was a medical issue, and I would have just left it at that with no hard feelings. But he insisted I take the money back. There's another aspect to this. This was not a fishing rod out of his own stock. He was selling the rod for someone else. That means when he pays the owner for the rod, it comes out of his own pocket. I feel that anyone willing to go this far to keep a customer happy even though it was no fault of his, is one really decent person!!!! Get your tackle and bait at this store. This is the kind of place locals should want to keep in their community and support!

I checked the website and it said open and close at 6pm. 8:40 and not open when I arrived. This is a nice store, shame about the time issue

Been in the store a few times, very helpful staff. The store isn't large, but they have a great selection for freshwater fishing.

Man let me tell you how awesome this place is!! First of all,,the guys who work this store are the best!! The owner Lin is an great knowledgeable friendly professional guy!! He's always glad to see you and he really wants to help you in any way to get you your best fishing experience!! The store has all you need and is priced to sell!! He has a young dude named Hunter who helps man the store and its obvious that they both have the same thing in common..Come see these guys..They have everything your lookin for and you might find that piece of equipment you couldn't find anywhere else!! The deals are unmatched,,buy a rod and reel combo and get Hugh discount!! Quick story and I'm done.Had just bought a rod and reel form them on Thursday and took it out the next Saturday.. First cast and hook set the rod broke,,completely no fault of the store,,so I took it in and Hunter was there and had me straight with a new rod and out the door back to fishing in no time..So come on down and see these guys and become a part of the ROYAL FAMILY!!They really know how to take care of royalty!! Lin and Hunter you have my utmost thanks and appreciation🤟🤴🤴

Don't trust. We called the day before to check time and bait availability. Arrived and waited till 40 minutes after the doors were supposed to open and the guy never showed up. I wasn't the only one waiting in the parking lot.

Great owner, I went in today to get some advice related to pond fishing. I bought some hooks, worms and a fishing lure, and later in the day I caught a small mouth in our neighborhood pond. I have two small grandkids that I plan to take fishing. A really great shop with nice people, I’ll be back.

From the minute my 14 yo son and I walked into the shop we were greeted, welcomed and enjoyed conversation with the owner Lin. To say this shop blew our doors off would be an understatement. We just absolutely enjoyed every minute in the shop. Great tackle selection, excellent variety that can't be missed. It's all here: crankbaits, buzzbaits, chatterbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits, jigs, frogs and live bait. BUT HERE'S THE THING... It's a CAREFULLY CURATED selection of these items. You aren't wading through a bunch of random overstocked shelves overwhelmed with junk. It's a small shop, with national and international connections, stocking things you will not find elsewhere, like several exclusive colors for baits. Lines, rods, reels...you're going to find what works, learn as much as you want about how it works and some of the technical talk on response, weight, action, etc. And it makes sense. You'll feel right at home here. It is clear Lin cares about the people. I know why he's been in business for 30 years. Fishing Pro Tech is one of those places you don't want people to find out about because you can keep it all to yourself, but you know you want everyone to know about it because you can't keep it all to yourself. Thanks for the free stickers too, we will be back!
