This place is great! We went to family camp and had a great time. Camp had a relaxed pace with many recreation options. We got to try some things we don't normally get to do (high ropes, leap of faith) and also canoeing, kayaking, swimming, etc. The food was great but the best part was the staff members' friendliness and warmth. We stayed in Oakwood which has connecting rooms for larger families. Hope we can return.

This is apparently a little known RV park. I couldn't find it while doing a Google search for RV parks. A friend told me about it. Beautiful facility. The campsites are heavily wooded that makes TV reception spotty. That's the only negative about the place.

I have been a camper at WCRC for 8 years and this will be my second year as a counselor. It has been like a second home to me. I love the camp staff and I love how God-centered camp is.

This is a small campground but this is definitely where you want to stay if you intend to visit Williamsburg. The camp is about 10 miles from Williamsburg but feels very secluded and serene. It offers a number of recreational activities and is well-kept. Price is right. Highly recommended.

We had my family reunion here. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. They accommodated us so well!! The meals were incredible. It is a beautiful place and so peaceful. We had a big room to have our family time and many memories were made there. Hoping to go back again!

Some friends planned a crafting retreat at this venue. I had not been there before but my roomie had many times over the past 20 years. We were on the first floor with a renovated room with 2 of the most comfortable queen sized beds and pillows I have ever slept on. I even took a nap I was so happy with those mattresses. The beds are a bit high so if you are short or have trouble walking you may have difficulty getting in and out of the bed. It was not a problem for me. The rooms are complete with all the basics sans TV or fridge. There is no room/maid services offered. The adjacent meeting room is small. We had 18 people crammed into this room for the weekend. The kitchenette is extremely small with a dorm sized fridge. This would not be a problem if the rooms had even a tiny fridge. They provide bags of ice for $5 which one of the employees brings from the kitchen. The air conditioner blows very cold air intermittently. I just kept a sweater I took off and put on.They offer meals options and Kai, a young chef, is very talented at cooking food for a group. The pot roast and mashed potatoes and gravy was fabulous. All the meals were well prepared and buffet style. I was not shy about helping myself and there was plenty for everyone. The grounds are very natural and easy to walk. The road to the retreat center is easily navigated but some distance from any kind of restaurants and there is no delivery service from the closest restaurants. I brought my own drinks and snacks but some people didn't and spent too much time trying to get pizza delivery. The staff I interacted with peripherally seemed very kind and helpful. The environment was clean well maintained. It is a Christian retreat center but was comfortable whatever your spiritual orientation.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful with safe and nice paths to walk. Very affordable. I would of tried to stay longer if it wasn't such a long ways from work.

We were going to send, and paid for, summer camp for our son, until we got an email a few days prior which we didn't see until the day before saying he would have to have a covid test to go. Said nothing about that in any of the forms we signed before paying and never would have signed up had that been the case. Emailed to let them know he wouldn't be coming and we'd like a refund or a credit. NO response

Great place for running! Trails are awesome. Only giving three stars cause I’ve only been there to run on my XC team so I can’t speak for the rest of the amenities the retreat provides, but the trails are 10/10. Perfect level of difficulty for the intermediate/ semi-advanced runner or biker.

Absolutely wish I could give 10 stars. What a peaceful, quiet area to reconnect with nature. Space 20 was so level that our auto jacks had to hardly do any work. Surrounded by trees on both sides, large spaces, picnic table and fire ring (they even have firewood available for a small fee) we were so pleased. Pricing w/ passport america was a steal and then on top of that the other night they gave us the good sams discount which we greatly appreciated. We had a blow out the day we were to arrive and thought since we had to cancel 1 night (waiting for a new tire) on same day that they would charge us for that night, surprisingly they did not. The grounds are beautiful, well manicured with volleyball, soccer area and other outdoor games! The pool and hot tub here are the largest I have seen and had a lifeguard on duty. They don't have a laundry room but they do offer a washer and dryer for use, it was clean and easy to use. The staff was super friendly and each person you drove by waved to you! Each year as we travel north we will definetly be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The sites are wooded and provide all the needed amenities ie electric, water and sewer. WiFi and phone reception were excellent. All this at an amazingly low price. The bathrooms are always clean. Also their are covered garbage cans at each site. The 3 times I have camped there it has always been quiet. There do seem to be a few permanent residents but their sites are well kept. The location is a short drive from Colonial Williamsburg.I have camped all over the country and in all types of sites ie RV trailer parks, state parks, federal parks, KOAs as well as privately owned parks so I have seen it all. I feel this is one of the best places I have ever stayed and won't hesitate to come back if I find myself near here again.
