Cool museum! I didn't expect it to be that big and saturated. Lots of photos, real airplanes, machines, tanks and other expositions.

The museum is well structured. There's a theatre which displays a video of the Marine Corps history. Upon exiting, you begin the first exhibit. Each one takes you thru a specific time line of events that occurred during a war and conflict. The upper level has a display of artwork created by veterans. The outer grounds has multiple interpretive walking trails

I would like to, but I have never been to the national museum. I have decided to take my family as we go there. How I would like to meet the marines. ????????

The exhibits were well done. You can tell the work that was put into it. I thought the combat environments were great especially for others to get a glimpse into the chaos of war. I was thinking that maybe there would be a warning on the glass, for those with PTSD or kids...but I think it's okay without the warning...I mean, this is what Marines do. I am a big fan of art and I wish there was a way that we could buy original works of the combat artists from the gallery. Please continue to have Marine Corps art displayed. I live it. My favorite thing in the entire museum was the sculpture of the Marine Rifleman with different Marine Corps things coming out of its body. Amazing museum. I intend to make a donation to the museum.

Excellent museum depicting a history of the Marine Corp. Several areas are under construction and when finished will add even more to the museum story and mission.

Our visit to The Mariners' Museum and Park in VA was fantastic! Plenty of parking, spotless restrooms, and captivating exhibits made for a memorable experience. The staff's friendliness and expertise enhanced our journey through maritime history. The park's picturesque surroundings provided a tranquil retreat. Notably, the entrance fee is unbelievably reasonable at just $1.00 – making it an absolute must-visit for history enthusiasts and those seeking an enjoyable day out. Ohh Yaa! The value for the experience is truly remarkable.

This is a well thought out museum with a very passionate and knowledgeable staff. One of the best things is that the public can rent available areas for events and banquets. The museum is right off exit 150 on I95 in Virginia. It's well worth the visit.

If you, or someone you know, is a major history buff, then this is the place for you! It walks you through from the very beginnings of the marines all the way to today. There is so much to see and learn! We walked quickly through it today, and it still took us over an hour to get through it all. I would love to come back when I have more time and really read and look at everything they have there.
