While the hotel is okay, rooms are fine. Be cautious of breakfast. Orange juice was rancid and had mold and syrup container had fuzzy mold all inside. Won't be eating there, if I have to stay in the area.

Room was a bit outdated due to the age of the hotel but it was thankfully, very clean with the bathroom slightly updated. The super-thin comforter wasn't adequate for the freezing temps that we've experienced but the heat from the heater kind of makes up for them. Also, when taking a shower, the pipes scream when you want warmer or hotter water which almost makes me hesitate to take another one after the first night due to fear of disturbing the neighbors next door. We were also placed near the back doors, so we heard the slam of the doors every so often. Sockets from the electrical outlets in the wall were worn out to the point of sagging connections from electrical cords. The t.v. also didn't have higher resolution so it was like watching t.v. in the 70's, 80's or 90's. All in all, the stay was comfortable and good, located in a nice, quiet area of Triangle, near what looks like a quiet, residential area. It was especially nice that the hotel was right next to the highway but stuff definitely, needs to be updated throughout the room so that potential electrical shock, for example, would be prevented. The major plus about this hotel is that it is one of the few out there that still offers free breakfast. Though it is still mostly continental breakfast, they offer warm eggs, sausages, bagels, bread, waffles and coffee in the morning to help start out the day. Would recommend for quick overnight stops and also for close proximity to D.C.Rooms: Rooms are outdated with the exception of maybe a little bit of the bathroom. The few outlets in the room were super-worn down with no usb connections available anywhere, comforters and blankets were too thin even though they were nicely clean and fresh, shower pipes were loud from turning on hot water, and the toilet took forever to flush so maybe the hotel should consider replacing those worn out toilets for new ones.Safety: Area seems safe and quiet unless there are hotel parties going on. We stayed there for 3-4 nights and one of those nights had a hotel party in a conference room. The music was loud but it wasn't too terrible.

We had a great stay. The hotel was spotless. The breakfast was great. The employees were so friendly and attentive. The location was so easy to get in and out of. We will defiantly stay here again.

Overall the room served its purpose. We were in town for a quick overnight while traveling. The location of the hotel seemed safe and quiet, close to residential area. It was a little tricky getting to the access road. The room itself wasn’t dirty but there was mildew & dust all over the window curtains. We all woke up with stuffy heads as a result. The AC unit rattled & made weird choking noises all night, it was hard to sleep through. The bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable. Taking into account the age of the hotel we give it a 3-star. Not awful but we won’t be staying again.

Rooms are nicely cleaned but need proper care and maintenance. Pool allows kids so no swimming for me. Not enough chlorineNearby activities: Marine Corps museum and the Quantico Marine baseFood & drinks: Don't go to the Globe and Laurel unless your looking for a bar. It USED to be a restaurant, but now it's a paper cropped menu and nightlife activities. So now it's just a bar. Food was not great and the service was worse. If not for the young man bartender we may not have gotten a drink or ordered food

The room was spacious however my room did not had a bedspread I did not appreciate that also the towels were badly organize and no bags the person at the service area since like he could not understand my question about the pool so the other one next to him just said no pool no pool. so I assume there was no pool even though I read it had and I really would like it have used it.Food & drinks: the breakfast was good it had some alright items I had expected some danish or muffing too and fruit however it was alright.

The good...Booked the banquet room for an event. Thankful that the banquet room was available on the day I needed it. Location was perfect as well. Audio/Visual was limited but was able to utilize the TV on the wall (with HDMI) by displaying a photo slide show. The hotel manager Patel was awesome to work with in allowing me to see the banquet space days early to make sure it would fit my event. He was patient and understanding to my needs to have a successful event. The bad...$1500 (5 hours) to rent the event space where more modern hotels cost much less.Banquet space contract stated that the hotel would only provide the tables and chairs, no decorations. We had to bring our own decorations to set up. Contract also stated that the renter is responsible for cleaning trash, taking trash out to dumpster way across the other end of the hotel and vacuuming the whole event space after the event. The vaccums where from the 1960's but it got the job done in allowing us to vaccum the space. I know hotels that have a more modern look inside and out offering better prices to rent a banquet space and they would provide the cotton table cloths and would take out the trash after the event.Hotel is outdated and banquet room is outdated as well. Cracked banquet chairs which prompted for buying chair covers to make the banquet space look more presentable. Round and long tables were outdated as well where the tables were old wood.

The hotel itself is a little older, not the fancy latest and greatest in looks but clean comfortable and provides a great basic stay experience. If you are looking for somewhere to stay and have quick access to Marine Corp Museum. The staff was fantastic, the hotel manager went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed.

For a stop-over after an international flight from Dulles, it was ideal: quiet, clean, efficient, good service, even after coming in late and leaving early. It is very easy to access off of US 95, but not to close to be a nuisance. In good striking distance of DC and Fredericksburg.

Simple two star hotel, nice staff, quiet older hotel that could use a makeover but otherwise no complaints. My recommendation is if you can get a room for about 100 bucks or less, it's worth it.
