Old fashioned personal service! Zain and Todd went out of their way to lead us around the store and find everything we needed. Zain even discouraged us from buying some plant pots that wouldn’t last and got us better ones at a better price.

Purchased a Stihl product from the and it locked up with less than an hour of use . They tried to tell me at first it was my fault because of the fuel I used. Then when I told them it was Stihl fuel in it they made reference of how I was running it was the issue. Then they said if I would’ve brought it back within seven days they would have been able to give me a refund but told me I brought it in on the "eighth" day so they can't help meBoth Stihl and store were not willing to help me at all with the return of the product nor will they even concern the fact that it failed. I doubt very seriously that I’m going to be able to support either stihl or the store any longer unfortunately. The only thing the tech would reluctantly say is the fact that it shouldn’t have failed after an hour but that’s all I could get out of him.I am deeply disappointed in Stihl and Rockingham Cooperative on how I was treated on this issue.04/07/2023Regarding your response: thank you for your two month long Wait for a response. Respectfully, it will not change the fact of how I was treated at your store regarding a defective product.

We wanted a tree for the appointment balcony. Bobby in the garden department was very knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us pick out a great Japanese Maple, a pot and saucer. He talked with us about how to care for and prun our new tree. Thanks so much we love it.

Great customer focus. Well stocked even after Black Friday. Best place to buy Stihl products and supplies. Kent 16 all grain chicken feed is terrific for my hens.

I went there to get temporary post and chicken wire, to protect my little garden from my dog who likes to dig. I found all the seeds and everything I needed, but when I got to the cashier, and I asked about having someone help me with fence and a couple other things, I was immediately told where to go the back of the store to find it. I said, I have a bad knee so I really would appreciate somebody to help me. At that point, the cashier got a look on her face and from then on she was rude. After several minutes of waiting while she went to another register to help other customers, then someone came up maybe a manager, to find out what I needed. She also said it's back there and started to tell me where it was and I said to her, I have a bad knee I need some help. She was also rude and not very helpful. The man who eventually brought the stuff out after I paid for was not friendly, and overall the experience was not very good. I only went there because it's a few miles quicker than going all the way down into Roanoke to Tractor Supply, I had not been too this store in several years and now I remember why. That used to be a southern states, then it became at Ace Hardware Rockingham Cooperative. I will never go back there ever. If I have to go to a southern states I'll drive 30 miles up to the one in Lexington Virginia, or I will continue to drive 25 miles to the Tractor Supply.
