My apartment complex offers boot camp with a trainer from Bounce Fitness regularly. I'd been a few times before, but my last experience was unpleasant. I understand that trainers have to be firm, but this last guy was just straight up demoralizing. He'd get annoyed that we could not remember the drills when he would demonstrate two exercises at a time. Yet he had to keep referring to a notebook with a list of the exercise steps! Are you really going to get mad and frustrated that we are are focusing on the drill at hand instead of what comes next, while you, as a trainer, are ill prepared and reading from a notebook?! I will remember these sets of like 10 exercises when you can! Safe to say, I would not go back unless my complex provided another trainer.

I signed up for a package deal in late 2015 which had a combination of personal training sessions and monthly wellness advising sessions. Wellness Advising - 1 STAR - I had multiple changes in wellness advisors, even on a monthly basis (these sessions are only done once a month) due to turnover at the company. There was a gap between wellness advisors without a re-assignment. Furthermore, lack of transition between wellness advisors regarding my past records, discussions, and calendar availability - Measurements not necessarily aligned with my stated fitness goals resulting in poor progress tracking, in addition to lack of consistency in what wellness advisors measure. I do not have a reliable month-to-month comparison of my results. - Very frustrating experience overall. I cancelled my remaining wellness sessions by converting them into personal training sessions Personal Training - 3/4 STAR - The initial workout program I started was not fully aligned with my stated fitness goals during the consultation. For this reason, my results did not meet expectations based on training 2x per week with Bounce Fitness and 1-2x per week on my own. - The program was adjusted when I voiced my concerns with Bary approximately 2-3 months into the program. I started seeing results 1-2 months after the adjustment. - The trainers themselves are great - Colin and Alireza (Ali). They have strong backgrounds and are committed to helping clients reach their fitness goals. Overall, I feel that I wasted the initial 3 months following a program that was not tailored to my stated fitness goals. Most clients have weight loss targets, whereas my goal was to gain lean muscle mass, and my program was not tailored accordingly from the start. I was already in good physical shape such that I did not need a long ramp-up period to learn exercises and increase my stamina. This combined with the ineffectiveness of the wellness sessions leads me to not be a repeat customer after my few remaining sessions are completed. I have discussed all the above with Bounce Fitness and understand that the issues are being addressed. I hope that future customers are able to have a better experience as a result of the changes implemented to the programs.

My mother and I joined Bounce this year and so far we are LOVING it!! Our trainer, Colin, is incredible. I was worried because I have had many, MANY injuries in the past and my body has a lot of limits to what it can do. Colin listened and immediately had alternative exercises to do. And if I feel a discomfort with something mid-exercise he asks me where it hurts, corrects my form, and/or remodels the exercise to something I can do. I love the flexibility of having him come to our home after work. Part of our problem was when we got home we didn't WANT to go out to the gym. And so we didn't. Now we have no excuse and having Colin come just gets us super pumped up for the day. We also have Linda who is our wellness adviser. She is excellent! I've been having problems trying to remember to eat and she has me making a food diary. Yes, I could have done that on my own but it makes SUCH a difference when I have to report to somebody. She also has a super fancy scale that measures body fat percentage and all sorts of things like bone density. I can't say enough about Bounce. It is an investment, but something I can't see myself without now!

I highly recommend Bounce Fitness. I worked with them over a period of 9 months and lost 45 lbs during that time. They were wonderful and matched me with a trainer that was a great fit to my personality. We worked on the physical workout, nutrition, and the emotional reasons I had gained weight. They were very great in helping me transition to a traditional gym and now I miss it when I can't work out. They are a great resource for those who have tried "everything" else. If you need to lose weight and need an accountability partner, Bounce Fitness is a great resource!

Bary's Bounce Fitness Team of Jon Cueva as a Personal Trainer and Christina LiMura as a Health Coach is the best of the best! I have worked with a handful of different trainers over the past year and have found a "keeper" in the Bounce Fitness team. They are knowledgeable, reliable, encouraging, motivating... and so much more! And, you get fantastic and consistent fitness and WEIGHT LOSS results. Jon is not only professional, incredibly knowledgeable (about exercises, movement, anatomy, fitness, etc) but he also has an incredible energy and spirit that could motivate a dog to do a burpee. His workouts are intense and hardcore, yet he recognizes his client's limits and tailors the workout to their needs and capabilities. In addition, his workouts are filled with a variety of exercises to keep you engaged- the session never feels like its "inchworming" by. Christina has transformed healthy eating and drinking into something habitual and doable. She holds your hand through the stress of dieting and makes sure you're on track with regular emails/texts and monitoring your food journal. Her ability to address her client's nutritional needs and recommend healthy recipes is unparalleled. And, her wellness sessions keep you "in-check" and encouraged. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I called about a groupon for 6 personal training sessions and I was told they had lost money and aren't honoring the groupons anymore unless you commit to buying a 4,6, or 12 month personal training package. What??? Im sorry I'm not understanding?? You're trying to upsell me before I've even tried the services?!? So disgusted with this company!!! The point of advertising on groupon is to try out a new service and decide if you like it and then commit to payingb full price! If you lost money bc "they pay their trainers good money" then you must not be doing something right for the clients not to want to be signing up after the groupon sessions. He continued to say "I just don't think people were able to afford it" well first off I don't think too many people inquire about personal training sessions unless your able to afford it! What an insulting comment. Then he said well how about you try 1 session for $70, why would I try 1 for $70 if I can buy 6 via groupon for $149! If i could give these place a 0 star I would. Horrible, awful customer service...no wonder no one wanted to buy packages. They seem more money hungry then actually worried about gaining a client base that would be more beneficial in the long run.

I attend Sky's Wednesday evening and Saturday morning workouts at O St. Market's gym. It is always a fantastic workout, and definitely a better workout than I'd get on my own. I appreciate that he pushes us pretty hard, while also changing up exercises. I do whatever I can to make as many of his classes as possible. I almost considered making this 4.5 stars for the choice of music, but its growing on me.

I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Cueva of Bounce Fitness for the past 6 weeks. So far, my experience has been absolutely fantastic! The value you get is incomparable to my previous trainer experiences for a couple of reasons: - Your trainer comes to you. You do not have to waste any time to go to a gym, but instead use the gym that your apartment complex (or similar) has. This is extremely a good value for busy professionals like me. Additionally, you do not sign up to a gym and pay for it. Instead, you get focused attention from your personal trainer in a comfortable environment. - You receive wellness checks. Mine is every month. A nutrition specialist meets with you to track your progress and makes smart recommendations that are typically customized to meet your personal goals. You may not have a weight loss goal, but still can utilize this add-on service to learn about healthy nutrition which will help you and your friends in the long run. - You learn to appreciate what your body can do for you and how a solid trainer can help in the process. Before starting this program with Bounce Fitness, I tried a different personal trainer who was working at a gym. My prior experience was not a good one as I did not feel like my personal trainer cared about my progress. Luckily, I have a good trainer now who cares about my physical as well as mental health (e.g. stress). He takes his time to listen patiently and provide good advice on what I should focus on when I exercise on my own and of course how I should stick to smart/healthy eating without starving myself. - You understand the value of different types of exercises. Before, I was obsessed with strict cardio, running miles & miles. Now, I work on all parts of my body and have a variety of exercises including muscle building, balance, strength, and cardio - which makes things challenging, but interesting & fun. - Staff is professional, mature, and approachable. This is key to having a positive working relationship that will generate positive results for your body (physically and mentally). I strongly recommend Bounce Fitness to anyone who is interested in having challenging, fun, and results-oriented exercise!!

Summer was approaching and I did not look like I wanted to. I deeply desired a hard body and wanted to be more competitive in sports. I met Bary, the leader of Bounce, and trained with him for over a month. Never before was I pushed so hard and never before did I feel so good. Three years have passed and it's safe to say that Bounce Fitness is the best in the business. They design tough workouts specific to you and your goals. Couple that with positive motivation and credible trainers and you get the whole package. You couldn't ask for more. My passion is a result of the genuine good Bounce has done for me. I hope more people can get the experience I got. Knowing the Bounce crew, they'll probably get more than they imagined.

I have been working out with David Smith of Bounce Fitness for 3 months and I don't know why I waited so long to do this! He's fantastic. If you've ever thought that being fit was for other people, or if you've ever said "I can't" about working out, running, or any type of exercise, you'll be blown away by what you can do when you set your mind to it. David will help you. He's friendly, understanding, smart, dedicated, and highly motivating. He's taken me from so-so to amazing, I even ran an 8k, and feel like I have reached my fitness goals. This is the best thing I've ever done for my health. And, the accountability is only part of what keeps me on track.

Personal training is something I've always wanted to try, and I had the pleasure of working with Bounce through a friend's silent auction. It was fantastic (not to mention incredibly convenient) to have the trainer come to my apartment complex and use the available equipment. Having been focused more on cardio, this made it easier to develop a strength training routine that I could keep up after the training sessions ended. The trainer was the right mix of motivating and patient, and he really worked with me to identify personal goals. I learned a lot, feel better about my workouts, and would definitely recommend using Bounce!
