Our two daughters have been taking golf lessons with Coach Shane, where they learned not only the correct sequence of body movements—such as proper weight transfer at impact—but also how to execute a swing through precise and controlled motion.
Since last month, we enrolled them in a 10-lesson program to prepare for future golf activities. Through the screen simulator at the practice facility, they learned various game rules and the essential steps of playing a round of golf. They are now ready to apply what they’ve learned on an actual course.
The lessons have significantly boosted their confidence. Whenever they faced challenges, the instructor always responded with patience and explained things in a way they could easily understand. We were introduced to this instructor through a friend whose child showed noticeable improvement in swing posture, and we plan to continue coaching sessions as needed.
Coach Shane not only teaches golf techniques but also helps the children discover the joy of playing the game. We truly believe that this guidance will continue to have a positive impact on their golf journey.

I just got fitted for new clubs at Tysons West Golf, and man, what an awesome experience. Telvin was my fitter, and he was incredible.
He didn't just throw me in front of a monitor and start swinging. He took the time to chat with me about my game, what I wanted to improve, and what felt good. The whole time, he was super knowledgeable and friendly. The technology they use there is wild, and he broke down all the data in a way that actually made sense to me.
He found the perfect clubs that feel amazing. If you need new clubs, go see Telvin at Tysons West Golf.

I have been working with James on improving my golf game, and after the first lesson, I saw immediate results. I purchased a 10-lesson package because of James' instruction and guidance on how to fix my swing, make better contact, and feel more confident when playing. I can certainly say that each subsequent lesson has seen my swing become more consistent.
The store itself is immaculate, clean, and very welcoming. It's easy to park with 2 hours of free parking in the adjacent garage, and the store is right off the 2nd level lobby.
I'd highly recommend lessons from James if you're looking for clear instruction, helpful feedback, and a great facility to learn in.

Have always been very nervous with lessons from past experience but I got to work with Telvin Walker and it was awesome. He was a very informative teacher and has a great eye for certain areas to work on. I took home a lot with this lesson and will definitely be working with him again.

First ever fitting with Telvin Walker at Tysons West Golf Store was insanely beneficial and a fantastic experience. From hitting my grandfather's old clubs to fine-tuning swing mechanics and club technology for a casual golfer, I could not have been more satisfied. rather than spend however much at a driving range just hitting balls with our bad form, come here and ask for Telvin to make it worth your while at Tysons West Golf Store!

Working on my gold game at Tysons West Golf has been awesome. James Kim has been an amazing coach. I have learned a lot about my swing speed, distance and launch. He is great and my scores and swing are improving.

Went for a lesson with Telvin Walker - excellent coach. Super competent and friendly. Relaxed and professional atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Parking very easy and free. Store well-stocked with bays for practice. These folks are real professionals.
