“Compared to the shops in Charlottesville, this place is heaven, (namely the scalpers at Tobeys) it was my 1st time dropping by the store and boy am I glad I did. 1. If you are looking for any hard to find caliber they probably have some, the fact that they had cases of German ww2 8mm not that surprising, the fact that they had 8x50 label and 5.45x39 ammo in bulk that blew my danm mind. 2. As far as prices both the guns and ammo are priced roughly at market value,a few of the 91/30 mosins were I'd say listed 100 bucks over market value but if you come cash in hand and make a reasonable offer they will cut you a deal( again compared to Tobeys pawn where they pay a guy 20cpr for 7.62x39 and then turn around and in front of my own eyes mark it at 50cpr for the shitiest Steel case ammo, and even if you come cash in hand they won't cut you a deal on their over priced guns) oh and 3. Their consignment fee is only 10% on Guns AND Ammo ( I'll repeat that for the 3 stores in Charlottesville with consignment fees of 25%) only 10%, I'm finally gonna get to unload some of my 375 H&H magnum ammo. 4. And they also stock and sell supressors, ( they had a few in store that they brought out for show and tell) but I'll hold my judgment on this part because I haven't actually done a nfa transfer through them yet. 5. On the variety of firearms it's mostly old Milsurplus rifles and pistols with a few ARs sprinkled about and I think I saw a Glock in one cabinet, I won't really count this one a con it's hard to find all the milsurps in store all together to go and see, just don't expect to find any Daniel Defenses or Knights Armaments/ Staccatos in the shop.”
“John did a great job taking my brand new Ruger Blackhawk revolver to the next level. Excellent job polishing and re-bluing plus great gunsmithing by replacing the trigger, hammer and springs.
Very good communications during the process which was only a few weeks. Fair pricing was appreciated.”
