“The people who work at this location are great, super friendly every single time I’m there. The only issue I have with this location, the shelves aren’t kept stocked and they don’t have many frozen food options.Other than stocking issues, it’s a great store when you need something fast.”

Valerie (Val) didn’t even know but treated me with so much kindness, it’s very clear she cares for her customers and her job. I’ve never had such a good experience in a dollar general. “This dollar general is my favorite in the surrounding area by far. It's clean, stocked, and the employees are always so nice to me and my kids. They always greet you when you walk in an me if they are busy when someone goes to check out there's always an employee coming to check you out within minutes. This is definitely my go to stop when I'm in fishersville. Thank y'all for your hard work”
“Miriam Jackson - The store was closed from the snow/ice storm. They closed Saturday night, 1/24/2026, and were closed Sunday 1/25, Monday 1/26, Tuesday 1/27, and Wednesday 1/28. They reopened Thursday 1/29. The parking lot was covered with very thick ice. They couldn’t even receive their Fresh truck.”
“UPDATE:their is a new store manager and he is super friendly and always willing to answer questions. Their are several new employees that are super friendly and willing to help. Their is a teenage boy in their with better manners and respect then adults I have seen!!!!!!!!!! used to love going to this store, now it’s horrible to go too. The store is always a complete mess. There is some employees that are completely rude and disrespectful. The manager is completely rude. If u show here something is wrong she just makes comments and disrespectful to her customers. I would rather drive out of my way than to go to this store. The store in fishersville and staunton is so much better. The employees are extremely nice. They don’t act like you’re bothering them if you ask a question. I highly recommend driving to one of them.”

“As always I was in a rush and asked the cashier, Halyana,(made sure I looked at my receipt so she gets credit for this)where the distilled water was located. She gave me detailed instructions in a most pleasant voice and I found it immediately. She made sure I was ready to check out before walking away from the register and was VERY cheerful and courteous throughout my transaction! This young lady deserves a raise ASAP!”
