Our daughter has been going to Wonder Land Enrichment Center since she was a little over a month old. The owners are all very nice and you can tell they really care about the children that go there. If there is a situation where I need to discuss something about something our daughter did, I know without a doubt that I can go to any of the administrators and they will listen and work with me to come up with a solution. They want what is best for each and every child. The love and compassion they have for the kids is outstanding. Our daughter loves going each and every day, she will get very upset if there is a day that she can't go due to being sick. She has learned so much, and I often say she is way smarter than I was at her age. We cannot thank Wonder Land enough for all they have done for our daughter. She can recognize her name and spell it. She can recognize letters of the alphabet, count to 20 and sometimes she will count further than 20. She loves all of the crafts they get to make. She loves to read, and draw.I am so glad that we picked Wonder Land for where our daughter would be going. I had two other parents tell me such wonderful things about Wonder Land when we were looking, and I am very thankful for those parents. While our daughter has her favorites, she still likes all of the teachers.I would highly recommend Wonder Land without hesitation to anybody. They have changed our lives and are making a difference in our daughters life as well. Thank you Wonder Land for everything you do every single day for the children.

Becka talks to her employees like they are trash and unworthy. She doesnt care about the workers much less the children.

My granddaughters love this place. They have even asked me to leave and come back later to pick them up.

I've used this center for both of my kids for the past 5 years. They absolutely love it here and the teachers are very caring and plan fun activities like having an ice cream truck visit during the summer. My oldest will be entering kindergarten this fall knowing basic sight words, how to spell his name, and basic addition while my just-turned three year old knows her colors, the alphabet, and can pick out her name. Special shout-outs to Ms. Amanda, Ms. Carey, and Ms. Mindy for being the favorite teachers of both kids! This place is a great value--both for your money and for making your kids feel welcome.

I have had custody of my granddaughter for almost 4 years now and shortly after I obtained custody she was able to start attending the class for 2 year olds at Wonder Land. She hadn't had much interaction with other kids or people before that. I felt it necessary to share with Carol and Miss Mindy this in hopes that it would help them understand her needs. It didn't take her long to start blossoming into the social butterfly that I knew she was going to be. They helped her develop so many skills and she never leaves without wanting to hug the staff. I'm grateful for their part in her life and so happy that she still attends 4 years later through the summer. Thank you Carol, Jennifer, Emily, Becca and all the others for caring for our girl!

Do not recommend. Some of the teachers have no business being in charge of children. I heard teachers yelling at kids every single time I went in the building. It has a bad smell and any time I had a concern it was not taken seriously. Also feel like they have security issues since it was not clear that anyone was even taking note that my kids were there or not.

Sketchy people working here. My concerns about people and practices were not taken seriously. When I asked the owner to keep my child away from a certain person she said she "wouldn't be held liable" if they interacted. I saw nearly all the teachers acting unprofessional. There is a time out chair in the lunch room when children are only there for 20-30 min at a time. They say they "infrequently" use time out. No one greeted my children when they came in and it was unclear as to whether there was even any system for checking them in. I heard teachers Yelling everytime I came in - even before 9am! Very unprofessional and even though I needed to make it work I could not!

My kids have been attending Wonderland since they were infants. They have learned so much from the teachers. They enjoy their time there and with their friends. The staff have been always been attentive to our concerns and addressed them in appropriate ways. They have a secured facility and an app to provide parents with updates of daily activities. I definitely recommend.

My 1 year old and 12 year old love this place. My 1 year old son smiles as soon as we get out the car in the parking lot. The staff are very personable the owners are down to earth. As a person that has also worked in daycares, I see less runny noses here and lots of play by staff as in staff getting right on their level, hands and knees. I would recommend this place to others!

I’m writing this review as a former Wonderland Enrichment Center employee. I started working at wonderland a couple months back and I honestly can say I had no problems with the management at first, my only problem was being shuffled in between every class room. I was finally put into one class room which I enjoyed the students and the other teacher who was also in the class. After a little while of being there I realized why it was named “wonderland” it was a mess. The management was awful. When I came in I learned that it was family run and operated which I knew it was going to be interesting , the owner was always confused on how to do her job and often left the responsibility’s up to her daughters who also worked there. The owners daughter who wasn’t there when i originally got hired there was a piece of work and often when you didn’t agree with her she would take it out on your schedule and would say extremely rude comments to me often. For days there was no air in the back classrooms, and when I would complain of the unbearable heat in the summer I would be told there’s nothing they can do, or for me to not back talk to them. They would shuffle children around and teachers around constantly and it was sad to see for the children bc they would never be able to have a classroom to come too and stay all day or the same teachers all day which I’m sure could be extremely hard on a child. My son was enrolled in the infant class which I loved his teachers and so did my son, but they’d often be short staffed and my child would be moved to the transition room. My child is not even a year and would be with other children who were 16 months and older just because the office couldn’t make a schedule. When the office caught word of me finding another job they took me off the schedule without even letting me know, and when I called to talk to the owner as usual no one answered the phone. I showed up to pick up my paycheck on the first and was greeted with my check and two Wal-Mart bags that they had packed all of my sons belongings into these bags. Keep in mind no one even asked if my son was returning ( god knows I’d never leave my son there without me ) but they had packed his things and had them on the floor. I got my check and realized they took out $355 for “childcare” when I only pay $170 and when I questioned it The owners daughter got irate and told me there’s nothing she could do and it was because I missed a payment keep in mind THEY take out childcare each out of my check so how would I miss a payment? And even if I did 170 + 170 is 340 they took out 355. She told me she’d call the cops if I didn’t leave. Not only am I out half a paycheck so is my child. It’s ridiculous how this place is run and for anyone that’s looking for somewhere to take their child DO NOT take them to Wonderland Enrichment Center in Verona VA and if you’re looking for a job DO NOT go there and if you do I pray for you. I will continue to let everyone know how awful this place is.

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR DAYCARE OR JOB! My wife worked here for almost a year and my son went as a baby. The management was very unprofessional and MOST but not all of the staff hired there reflected that. My wife worked as a lead teacher of a classroom and was constantly harrassed by a particular employee, who has been a problem with numerous other employees. When the issue was brought up to the owners nothing was done to correct the situation. There is another who I have looked up on social media just to see who watches my kid and found very disturbing images of the employee partially nude! My wife and others were constantly asked to watch way more number of children than allowed by law... even up to double the ratio at times. Not only were they out of ratio, the children were of different age groups. School aged children were placed in class rooms with 3 month olds and were poorly supervised resulting in very unsafe conditions. Many times the physical conditions of the building were unsafe such as unlocked gates, and opened windows with no screens in them to prevent children or things from coming in or out. Now I know children will get dirty, they're kids, it's in their blood, but my 5 month old would come home filthy head to toe, with food crusted to his face . I've even picked him up and had poop that had clearly been left on him for numerous hours, resulting in bad diaper rashes. The center has a daily activities sheet where they marked what your child did that day, recording feedings, diaper changes, and developmental milestones. On multiple sheets the center claimed that my son had rolled over, but he has never done this at home or while anyone else has watched him. In general this place is not somewhere I would ever send my next kid and I'm glad we found a way to get our son out of it now. However of the 12+ teachers there, there were two very good ones that I never had an issue with and were always pleasant and professional when the watched my son and for them I am thankful.

Unkempt, teachers are mean to each other and to the children, poorly supervised, children are constantly sick...children get singled out as ones being more or less liked by teachers....it's very disappointing.

I had a bad experience with this place. Owner and her daughter whome is a teacher for the 4-5 year olds are very rude, they never smile(which to me tells me they dislike there job pretty much)very rude to the children. My daughter screamed to go every morning while telling me they were mean. I did meet some nice ladies there but theres more ugly there then nice i dont suggest this place to anyone.
