The customer service here is impeccable. Rebecca in particular was extremely kind and understanding of our unforeseen traffic delays. She even stayed after hours for us. Thank you so much for helping me through a stressful situation. I recommend this business wholeheartedly!

Terrible experience renting from this Budget location. I got a flat tire about an hour into my drive. This location was closed, so I called Budget roadside assistance. Because there was no spare tire in the car (!!) roadside assistance couldn't help me at all. They told me to call AAA, and I had to pay out of pocket for a tow and new tire.While waiting for the tow, I called Budget Customer Service, and they promised to extend my rental for free, to makeup for the time I had lost. And, Budget agreed to reimburse me for the tow and new tire. When I returned the car, the rep at this location told me I wouldn't be reimbursed, and I was charged for the extra day. Basically "your problem, not mine". I called Budget Customer Service again to dispute the charges, but was told there was no record of all my phone calls from the side of the road, the extension on my rental, or the agreement to reimburse. I will never use Budget again.

The clerk was respectful but perhaps understaffed and under pressure.the car was unacceptable for a rental, however. I ordered a Toyota Camry for a long distance haul, and was told only a 4Runner was available (gas chugger). It was dirty on the outside, but I said okay as long as it works. I get home and find a headlight is cracked, there is ice cream on the door window, and the rear right blinker is defective. The car has 34k miles. It seems the car was unprepared and there was no preparation for the reservation I made weeks ago.On top of this, they charged me $50 because the tank was only at 7/8, which was the fuel reading the car began at. It was a hassle getting that settled. I trusted too much, document and check everything and make sure you get a receipt at the end. I recommend to rent from airport pickup locations as they have more inventory and staff on site.

This is the worst budget location. Worst customer service (I had a clerk named Heni who couldn’t care less about customer service) and they charge you for every little thing. In addition, car came dirty and ratty each time I’ve rented here. And when filling up gas, be very careful, know that they won’t refund you for any overages in gas no matter how much more you put in but they will deduct even a tiny bit less.

i chose budget b/c the first experience i had with them was pretty good. it did still take 30 mins to check out the first time even with the pre sign in i did online, but the car was a 4/5 clean and no surprises. so then i rent again to drive from here to NYC on a sunday. i reserved to pick up at 9AM and the drop off location closes at 3PM in NYC. i kept the 30 min check out in mind when i made this reservation and thought, the latest i would leave is 10AM. 3.5 - 4 hours to get to NYC to drop off the car since my rental should've been a hybrid and there would have been no stops, should be fine, with an extra hour of wiggle room. i get a call the night before that the car won't be ready until 10:30AM. i asked if i could get an extra free day b/c if they say 10:30AM, i have to assume that's closer to me leaving around 11. they said no, that it was reserved by someone else the next day. so what are they expecting me to do? speed and get a ticket or get into an accident to make it to the budget in NYC by 3PM? that's ridiculous, if they provide it to me 2 hours late, then i should be able to keep it 2 hours longer and they couldn't accommodate that saying i had to get it to them before closing. i got a full refund, but it's ridiculous how these big companies can cause issues like this where i had to find other last min transportation that was way more expensive and they don't get penalized in any way. and you know they charge a ridiculous amount for every single petty little thing. at least airlines provide credit or accommodations or something when they overbook and people have to change their plans.

The guy was not available for 30 min he had a lunch break when I arrived but I was late in picking up the car from the time I am supposed to get it. I had a problem as I was giving an old car with over 50k miles and when I drove to Washington DC it was very noisy and the break was weak plus wheels seems to be old. I booked SUV American car but they gave me KIA sonata although it is SUV car but I didn’t like it at all.

My customer service representative at National Airport Budget gleefully administered electroshock treatments to me for three hours. No, wait, she waterboarded me. No, wait, that was just her being friendly. Ouch.

Office is inside garage entrance where you'd get on Marriott elevator. Clerk was very helpful and flagged to me that I completely forgot to fill the tank.

I had a pretty decent discount through work. The man who runs the office works very very hard to get people the vehicle options they want. I got a great deal in an equinox for a week. Now issues at all. I did forget to fill the tank so had another fee. Extending the rental was easy as calling. Definitely would recommend this location to others.

This is the worst experience I’ve had renting a car. I made a reservation online and didn’t get the discount then called in and the guy gave me the friends and family rate but when I picked up the car there was no discount and he didn’t even give me a receipt for the changes to my credit card. I spent 2.5 hours dealing with this rental and they say they can only give me $25 credit. This is fraud. You can’t offer one price then charge another price.
