they cant update their records properly yet have the audacity to send your personal information to third parties to collect a cheap router that you've already returned directly to the store, along with threats of additional fees.

When I visit the COX Showroom I feel right at home! Cyrus treats me with the upmost respect and over the top customer service! He knows my situation and the issues I'm dealing with and doesn't judge me at all! Thank you for understanding me and will continue with COX until the end!!! The worst experience ever. First time scheduled a tech no one show up you have to schedule another time. When you trying to report this problem to phone agent they hang up your phone immediately. Also charge you 75 for tech to visit . A router that no one touched but Wi-Fi just suddenly went off. I'm choosing Verizon next month cox fucking sucks

Just the absolute worst ISP. And this is coming from someone who though Comcast was bad. I found out yesterday they started boradcasting free unsecure wifi from the "rented" router. Its drowning out the good router I own causing both to shut down and I have no internet now. ALSO they just started charging me more for internet for no reason what so ever. These people need to learn they can't keep pushing us consumers around. It's time we act!

Cox is garbage. We were forced to switch to cox by our apartment. They told us to leave the device at the unit, but now they are harassing us about bills and putting us in collections. I keep getting told they will fix it and I’ve been transfers 5 people and called 4 times to get fixed. Just return don’t listen to the apartment. Save yourself the headache.

Lousy unreliable internet made worse by poor customer service. They try to make you talk to bots and people that can't or choose not to help you and just read off scripts. I even upgraded to premium technical support. They were also unreachable.

After being a customer for 15 years they refuse to waive a credit card return fee of $50. Our credit card number changed and it was paid on time.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They do not even deserve 1 star.I choose cox for internet and cable in my first apartment. I was instructed a technician would come out to set up everything. The first technician stayed for 5 hours and was unable to find connections. The next available technician came a week later. A week later with out any WIFI? Well he came.. late. He did not call he had arrived I actually found him playing on his phone in the lobby. When he came up to my apartment he said he is going to check for a connection and left. HE NEVER RETURNED. When calling Cox they were unable to provide me with any explanation as to why there technician did this. They sent out another technician a week later.. 2 weeks no WIFI (at this point I should of switched to Verizon) The 3rd technician came out and I told him what happened with my 2nd technician. He was very helpful in letting me know Cox is a scam and do not monitor their employees or care about there customer’s. Two weeks still no internet or cable installed by any of the 3 technicians.I had to cancel my plan without even being able to test their services, nobody in their customer service department wanted to find a solution.Lesson learned. Go with Verizon. Cox is no longer a family oriented company & does not care about customer satisfaction.

Trying to get the cable fixed. Been on hold for more than 2 hours. NO ANSWER. I called on the other phone and they pick up prior to the first call. Talking with the superviser, explaining they have not pick up the first call, she hangs up on me. 30+ years with this company and customer service is CRAP.

They charged me $50 when auto pay tried to charge an expired credit card. Absolutely insane. It costs them $0 to try to charge an expired card. I called and they would not wave the "fee". I have put up signs in my apartment building informing people of this and encouraging them to use their Verizon connection instead of their cox connection when moving in.

Worst internet service provider in Virginia. Use anything but this company if you can. Customer service is terrible and they will try charging you hundreds of dollars on top of your monthly bill for any issue, even before you are a customer.

One of the worst if not the worst internet provider! Service constantly goes out, like in the middle of your work or a movie! It takes long time to be back and they do nothing about it. If you have other options go with those.

Closed my account with them. I had a hard time on the phone to get the account closed so we went in person to this store. Elbert was very polite, friendly and efficient . He did the job in 3 minutes??
