I am writing this review as a pharmacy manager ; I walked to the pharmacy at 7:50 and pharmacist Jerry was extremely disrespectful to me as a patient. I asked for 1 ml syringe to inject my B12 that I picked up my Rx from CVS . He denied to give me a 1 ml syringe and he asked me to go to CVS in Arlington rd , Gallows rd . I even asked him how he does his vaccine ? He said he does it on 3 ml syringe and him and his tech were making fun of me . I have never beeen treated this way from a colleague . Leave it aside that I'm a patient to his store . Such a shame for us as CVS employees to be treated this way . He definitely needs extra training on his position.

I would not recommend sending your prescriptions to the pharmacy. The pharmacist has very little interest in being helpful, and does not answer your questions with a respectful attitude.

The lady at the drop off was rude and refused to speak with me and had someone else serve me for asking for reasonable service.

What happened to the friendly pharmacy staff? There is a new Indian female pharmacist just refused to help me today. I scheduled for colonoscopy on Monday and wanted to fill my prescription for today so I can start the prep work tomorrow. My doctor forgot to put down the date. It is equivalent to over the counter medication for pooping! She said I should call my doctor and have him fill out the date. It's Saturday today! And the procedure is on Monday!! She turned me away with no options.

I wouldn’t get any prescriptions filled at this pharmacy. The wait time is ridiculous and they techs and pharmacists absolutely do not care how long you wait. They’ll have conversations and laughs amongst themselves behind the counter while people are waiting in a long line for over 35-45 minutes. They aren’t kind or helpful. If they mix something up, they keep passing you onto someone else within the pharmacy until the last person is left and still doesn’t have any answers for you.\\n\\nI’d find another CVS pharmacy, even if it’s a little out of your way, because this one had the worst service possible.

Just gotta say whoever was working the phones in the pharmacy at around 1945 on the 23rd of Feb, was the rudest and most unprofessional pharmaceutical tech I've had the displeasure of dealing with.\\n\\nWe're an urgent care and we were trying to call to correct an issue with a prescription sent to a patient and we had to call 6 times due to the staff just picking up and then hanging up the phone on us. They forgot to properly hang up one time and just left the line open and we could hear them talking faintly too... when we called the 7th time they answered the lady on the other end was incredibly short tempered and rude and made it far more difficult to fix the issue than it needed to be.\\n\\nSo from a medical providers point of view; we're all just trying to do our jobs we don't have to be $\\u0026@*'s to each other.

So many people waiting. Not one of the 6 employees working even acknowledge the people in line. Nobody makes eye contact. What the heck is going on?How can you run this department so badly. Every single time.

The most incompetent pharmacy staff I have had the displeasure to work with, and that's saying a lot.

If you seek Professional staff in a pharmacy, go to CVS - 8117 Leesburg Pike, they were excellent treating me kindly even with my complex request; Never saw a bad gesture, all of them very busy and happily working Many blessings for them! BTW: I went there because the “competition” was unwilling, unable and unfriendly to seek for alternatives; CVS personnel were and are Excellent!

I always have helpful associates at both the pharmacy and main store checkout area. It is a busy store and pharmacy has alot going on. I always manage to get the help I need and pleasant assistance. I have been going here for 5 years and no bad experience. I think more people need to be kind and patient with regards to the busy/overworked pharmacy staff.

Dont send a prescription to their pharmacy, you might regret it. Personally I have tolerated them enough. Now it's time to go somewhere else. They will make you wait and wait and wait and would never release your prescription when they don't have it in stock. They made me come back several times under false hope until the transfered my prescription our, but only to another CVS. Despicable.

Similar to a previous review. Called the pharmacy at 7:30pm. They close at 8. I hung up after 10 min and called back. On hold again. Sounded like it was picked up then placed on hold. I figured there were going to leave me on hold until they closed. That's exactly what they did. I wish my Dr didn't use this pharmacy.

I was on hold for 16 minutes with the pharmacy then they hung up on me. I called again and was on hold for a further 29 minutes. I called the front store asking why it's taken 45 minutes (I understand long wait times but it's 10:40am with a local CVS, not a nation-wide service with 1 call center), and the woman who answered took my name and number to bring to the pharmacy. The pharmacist calls me 4 minutes later, I asked her about the status of my prescription and then the pharmacist hangs up on me mid sentence after I tell her I'd like to move the prescription to another pharmacy. If you can, just go to any other pharmacy.Edited to add: Basically the background was that I was prescribed with gestational diabetes recently and so I have 0 knowledge on the medication/tools needed until my upcoming class. After I posted the above review, I found out that my doctor prescribed me one thing, and the pharmacy filled out test strips (replacements I'm guessing, maybe they ran out of the prescribed test strips?) that are completely incompatible. Isn't that the pharmacist's job to make sure that medications work together? Including devices?

This is our local CVS pharmacy and the store itself is sufficient with items that we need. The pharmacy itself is usually extremely busy and there is always a long line to either drop off prescription and pick them up.The drive thru is horrific. It is much easier to park the car and go inside rather than wait in the line that takes forever.
