Tried to sell me $500 speaker wire, suggesting that anything less will make their equipment sound suboptimal. Mislead me about restocking if I didn't like the equipment. They are knowledgeable, which is why I gave two stars. I suggest checking them out and then looking elsewhere (Command Performance in Falls Church or Crutchfield).

surprise bill with more than $1000 for speaker wire. Just got a bid at crutchfield for a new media room and the speaker wire is $175. Evolution asked me if I wanted cheap "wire from China" when I questioned the price on the bill. It would have been good to have an option.

Fantastic place for high end gear.And VERY quick install time. The install person, Jayson, really knows his stuff. He solved a persistent problem several others could not, in 45 minutes. EXTREMELY patient explaining and tutorials with me,I have dealt with many high end audio people during my lifetime, they are THE BEST.

I have visited the store just to learn and see high end audio gear. I have nothing but good things to say because the owner patiently explained and auditioned various systems and explained their pros and cons. It’s weird that someone called them racists - the most bizarre allegation based on my experience. I have been to a few high end audio stores since I love music and have a somewhat decent system. I highly recommend AV Evolution.

Deniz and Jason are the "go to" for high end audio in Northern VA. I have been working with them for a few years and built an amazing system. During and after the sale and instillation, they stand behind their equipment and work. They even assisted me in returning factory defective equipment and installing the replacement. Make the best decision you've made when it comes to high end audio... Go to Evolution.

Far and away the best A/V pros in Northern Virginia. Deniz patiently asks all the right questions, and matches up my audio needs/wants with top quality gear, always respecting my price point, while giving me as much time as needed to demo every option. Jay is a whiz at integration, and spent over 5 hours on Saturday to hook up my home PC with my new integrated amp, CD/DVD player, streaming gear/software, and TV. Highly recommended for serious audiophiles.

The penultimate place to go if your an audio snob and have the "audiophile" budget to spare. Essentially if your rich and want a high end place to buy high end gear, go here as its for you...for the rest of us, you'll get better service from IQ entertainment or Crutchfield or the other online retailers...

High end sales and service from a knowledgeable team. My experience with Deniz and Jason has been positive all around. They sold me a complete, hand-picked home theater system, installed it in my theater room, corrected some errors that the homebuilder had made, and provided me ongoing support and advice. We love our home theater and use it all the time.
