I would like to provide feedback about the HomeGoods store manager at 8357 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182. The manager, Erik, was unhelpful and disrespectful. When I asked to exchange my rugs, which I had purchased a week ago, as they were not the same design, he didn't assist me despite my repeated attempts. Additionally, one of the cashier persons was rude and tossed my credit card onto the cashier table, claiming it was a mistake, which I found to be untrue. I spent 15 minutes explaining the situation to the manager and another 20 minutes explaining it to the cashier person. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I would appreciate if the staff could improve their customer service.??

One of my favorite stores. Was hoping to find a lot of Christmas decorations on sale, but there wasn't much stuff. I did score a small Santa and a wreath.

Eric the manager at this store was very rude. I needed help in the rug department and he was very rude and noticeably bothered. Even the store associate was apologetic towards his childish behavior.

On 10/29/23, I spent 30 minutes shopping in the store. I found an item but preferred it in another color. When I approached ERIC/Manager and female employee, I shared that I had a question. ERIC/Manager made a gesture with his hand and turned around and walked away. I found that rude but said nothing about it. The female employee answered my question politely, but I was not sure she understood. A male employee approached, and I asked him. The two them shared more information and the male employee offered to search the information online. When we got to the front the male employee shared information with ERIC/Manager. ERIC/Manager looked at me and asked - what do you want? I shared that I wanted to know: 1) if Home Goods sold the item I was holding in another color; 2) if yes, is there a way of finding out which stores have it; 3) can the item be purchased online. ERIC/Manager told me that he did not know if the item came in another color and items could be purchased online. I said great this young man has offered to look it up online. ERIC/Manager then says items cannot be purchased online. I asked is it that consumers cannot purchase online but stores can. ERIC/Manager said nothing can be bought online. I asked if he was sure because he had changed his answer. ERIC/Manager YELLED - THANK YOU, HAVE A GOOD DAY SIR. I shared that I still not clear and I asked my question again. Louder, ERIC/Manager YELLED - THANK YOU, HAVE A GOOD DAY SIR. I displayed the same gesture he exhibited to me when I first approached him and walked away. Yet again, ERIC/Manager YELLED - THANK YOU, HAVE A GOOD DAY SIR. I turned around and asked him his name. ERIC/Manager YELLED - MY NAME IS ERIC. THANK YOU, HAVE A GOOD DAY SIR. ERIC/MANAGER stood by the entrance doors and stared in my direction as I completed my purchase. As I left, ERIC/MANAGER SIMPLY GLARED AT ME AND SAID NOTHING. The behavior exhibited to me was RUDE and UNNECESSARY. I believe customers should be able to ask questions. I believe Managers should exhibit behavior that encourages a sale and a welcoming feeling. If a manager is sensitive to questioning then the customer should be referred to the corporate headquarter's customer service number. Additionally, ERIC should wear the name tag assigned to him that displays his name instead of one does not so he can be easily be identified without someone asking his name. Yelling is a scare tactic or method of bullying -- none of which is pleasing in 2023.

This is a good place to grab common seasonal goods and other houseware. Prices are actually good and reasonable, plus there are finds that you don't see anywhere else, with international chocolates and other foods. They have a surprisingly large collection, and while they don't first pop up when you're searching for home goods, they over deliver! Wish it had more staff.

I just had a horrible experience at this home goods. I got an item from the clearance section at this home goods and when I go to pay the cashier tells me that this isn’t the price of the item I am purchasing. She starts hassling me and asking me where I got this and to bring her another with the same price. In other words she’s implying I grabbed a price from another item and stuck it on the mirror/art work I was trying to get. I asked to speak with a manager and she claimed to be the manager but she has to be the worst manager I’ve ever seen. She has no customer service skills was completely rude. I am never shopping there again and I hope she gets the repercussion she deserves.

Plenty of parking. AndThere's a Marshall's and a burlibgton in the same shopping center. In the adjacent shopping centre Pike7 Plaza ( walking distance heading west) there's a DSW & TJ maxx & a couple of restaurants, including Sakura Japanese Steak, Cava, Panera bread, Honey gro, Mod Pizza & Starbucks.Could be walking distance about a 1 mile still heading west is a best buy, next to a Container store, and a couple of restaurants Chick filled and Chipotle. All in all, from Spring Hill Road and Leesburg Pike after the Hilton on the south side & heading east you to Marshalls Drive, excellent shopping opportunities and chain restaurants.Highly recommend for bargain hunters.
