Tyler was a great sales associate and answered all of my questions. He made the overall buying process as stress-free as possible. He had an excellent knowledge of the Grand Cherokee L I was interested in and showed me all the features/packages included. Christian in the finance department was also very helpful and professional, and he was able to go through all the numbers with me quickly and efficiently. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Koons Tysons Jeep and will recommend the dealership to friends and colleagues.

I bought a vehicle from Koons Tysons in July. It was a certified pre-owned that had some small issues that they were upfront about and some that they covered under warranty. I those items covered under a "we owe" form and they honored everything that they said they would without issue. I brought the vehicle to my normal shop and had them inspect everything, no surprises. The vehicle was as advertised. My salesperson was Leo and I'd recommend him to anyone. Leo was respectful and upfront about everything. I'd seek him out if I were going to buy another Jeep. The only thing that I didn't like was the pushy extra warranty stuff and the lack of accepting wire transfers (for ease).I waited a while to review to make sure that no surprises arose down the road. I'm over 10k miles in now, hopefully nothing pops up now that I'm writing this...

Stay away from them at all costs. I went there for an oil change waited two hours, at the end My oil was never changed. I found out four days later after my oil change light came up! Their customer service is Terrible they did nothing and solution was provided they didn't even accept their mistake not even simple apology! Previously They left my oil change cap off and made me drive like that two days oil was leaked everywhere all over my engine. Their supervisor, name Victor is worst supervisor with 0 skills regarding running a business. Please stay away from these people.

James was a fantastic sales associate. He took all the time I needed to make sure I was comfortable with the buying process and did his best to advocate for me to get the best deal possible. James showed me all the bells and whistles on my new SRT, and checked in on me a couple days later to make sure the car was to my liking and that there wereno issues that popped up. Overall, the buying process was as stress free as buying a new car could be. I thank you all that helped us through the process for your time and attention.

What a SCAM!! We purchased a vehicle from Koons Tyson on August 19th. We financed $80k+ and paid off before first payment was due. STILL do not have a title. We can NOT get a title in our name, registration, or plates until Koons Tyson supplies ALL of the ORIGINAL required documents. WHAT A SCAM - they have our money - we have a car with NO title

We purchased a brand new $65,000 pick up for our business in early September. Upon delivery, the vehicle had 6 defects. We documented all issues and provided photos. We are now over a month later and absolutely nothing has been done. We contacted Koons for resolution not they have done nothing. Once you give them your money, don’t expect any follow up.

I went to this dealership back in August to purchase a vehicle. I drove an hour and 20 minutes when I got there they showed me the vehicle very fast and had me go inside. They told me they would give me a good deal they ended up not lowering the price of the vehicle at all, I ended up deciding to get the vehicle anyway. when I went to leave, the vehicle was on E! I asked The salesman for gas and the salesman AB look at me and TOLD ME I DON’T NEED GAS BECAUSE I GOT SUCH A GOOD DEAL. So I had to stop at the gas station and put gas in the vehicle to get home WHEN I GOT HOME FROM THE HOUR AND 30 MINUTE DRIVE I TOOK ANOTHER LOOK AT THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE TWO BACK TIRES WERE DRY ROTTED AND WOULDN’T EVEN PASS VIRGINIA STATE INSPECTION . I SPOKE TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY TOLD ME I COULD DO AN EXCHANGE. AFTER TRYING TO NICKEL AND DIME ME , THEN I DECIDED TO GO ANOTHER ROUTE TO GET A DIFFERENT vehicle from them THEY SENT ME OVER THE PAPERWORK TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO GET THE vehicle FIXED FOR ME AND READY TO GO FOR ME JUST TO SIGN THE PAPERS AND LEAVE AND THAT THEY WOULD PUT GAS IN VEHICLE AND . MAKE SURE THAT The TIRES and everything was ready to go for me I ended up waiting AND WAITING OVER A MONTH, NOT A PHONE CALL NOTHING I called them OVER AND OVER and they don’t even have the Vehicle no more I’M STILL WAITING FOR THE GM JAMES TO GIVE ME A CALL. I’VE LEFT SEVERAL VOICE MESSAGES AND EVERYTHING To him and his secretary, His secretary contacted me. I’m still waiting for them to contact me back. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP THEY SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED WITH THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS I told the salesman to please not run my credit that I was already approved through someone else. He ran my credit over eight times without my permission. ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD At a dealership AND ON TOP OF THAT I HAD TO SPEND $175 TO UBER HOME they should be ashamed of their selves the way, they treat their customers and their service.

We had purchased a Ram 1500 limited from Koons. After driving 4 hours each way, a week later a light on the dash came up and we took the truck to our local dealer, the dealer came back and said the air dam was missing and the wires were tucked up to make it not noticeable when inspecting the vehicle. The only reason the light came on was because 2 of the wires touched after driving. The dealer gave us an estimate of over $1000 to do the repair. We then contacted our sales rep since the vehicle was certified and he told us we had to drive 4 hours each way to get it fixed. This was the opposite of helpful as we are very busy running businesses and don’t have time to spend a day driving over 500 miles not to mention the expense. We offered an alternative of shipping us the part and we would pay our local dealer to install. They said no and told us it had to he done at their dealer. We have called multiple times over the last two months and our sales representative eventually said management would handle it. It’s over 2 months later and we have heard nothing. Will be buying another truck in the next few months and will definitely not be buying from Koons. Not the way to do business.

Our entire experience here was terrible. We bought a 2021 Jeep Wrangler from here & they are definitely a shady company. We live an hour and a half away- we were informed that the car was "ready for pick up", we find a babysitter for our 3 year old child and make the 1.5 hour drive there. when we arrive the vehicle is on the side & it "won't start". They have no idea what is wrong with it but the battery had been dying all day & they had been having to jump start it. Never was i informed that the car was having issues, or I wouldn't have made the drive. Left the car there to go in the shop, and drove 3.5 hours home with traffic... again, without the vehicle. Come to find out, the car wasn't even inspected at this point- so why would they even allow me to take it off the lot is beyond me, and illegal. They specified that while in the shop the car would be VA inspected & they would change the tires on the Jeep currently- with the SAME EXACT tires, just brand new because of the tread being low. About a week later they call us to tell us the vehicle is ready. We make the 1.5 hour drive once again & pick up the Jeep. I inform them that i will have my 3 year old with me and the car needs to be SAFE. On the way home, the tire pressure light comes on and the PSI is continuously dropping. Once home, we inspect the Jeep & realize that they had taken off the tires that were on the Jeep while we purchased it & put on cheaper tires (completely different brand) & didn't tell us. 2 of 4 of the tires that they switched on the Jeep, after we had already purchased (with other tires on it) it had large bubbles. One of the bubbles was so big that it was loosing tire pressure on the drive home. I called the next day and explained the situation & how much of a liability this could have been if the tire had blown with my CHILD in the car. Dismissive and unapologetic is a light term, to how they acted. I told them i wanted the ORIGINAL tires that were on the Jeep when we purchased it- and it was days of arguing with them back & forth. They finally agree to give us the tires that were on it when we purchased it, so my husband drives out to pick up the "original tires". We get home & get an appointment to have a car shop put the original tires back on the Jeep (which we were having to pay out of pocket for), and the employee informs me that the tires they gave us & said were the original tires- were indeed, NOT the tires. They had my husband come pick up 4 USED tires for a completely different rim size then my Jeep has. To top it off- ALL four tires have nails in them and are super worn. Regardless of that, they wouldn't fit my car anyway. I reached out to them today- asking for them to just order brand new tires - the SAME tires that were on the Jeep while we purchased it- and they said they would call me back today, which they haven't. This is a classic bait & switch- and a liability. Luckily, i have receipts, recorded conversations, texts/emails, & pictures documenting my experience, because at this point i'm 100% contacting a lawyer. Not only have they wasted my time on multiple occasions, trying to fix the mistakes that they had made- they also endangered my 3 year old. I wish i would have read the reviews of this place prior to purchasing a car through them. Hope you run far far away, and save yourself from the headache my family is facing because of them. I also forgot to mention that they promised us a 2nd key & 4 stock tires- that the previous owner was supposed to be turning in. apparently the previous owner never turned them in- so even though, we were told that we would get 4 additional stock tires and a second key- we got NEITHER. I haven't even fought about this part because honestly we have much bigger problems, but just a little fun fact.

Should have listened to reviews. Horrible customer service in sales and management. I went there to look at cars and trade mine in. Long story short, got a 2021 GMC to which I didn't even negotiate or haggle about price. I just needed a vehicle so I bought it. In the hurry and scurry of everything I didn't realize it only came with 1 set of keys. So the next day I emailed the salesman asking KOONS if they'd make me another set. This is literally no money to a huge company. Basically told me to go get one made myself. Then I wrote back that my keys don't work properly and asked what I should do, etc. I have YET TO HEAR BACK. I gave him a few days, nothing. So I decide to email all of the sales managers and the property manager. They have YET TO RESPOND. It's been weeks.

Nick Yazdani made my car buying experience great. He was so helpful everyday leading up to my appointment with any questions I had. The day of he took care of everything and made it a smooth transition into my new vehicle. Thanks Nick! I highly recommend if you’re going here for a vehicle to make sure he’s the guy you go to!

Their service department sucks at communication. My service rep failed to communicate what happened to my Jeep. Follow up calls to the service manager Kelvin went ignored. I recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. When it's time to buy a new Jeep, I'm definitely not using this dealership.

I've had better experience at other dealerships. I was traveling 2 hours away for my son to purchase his 1st vehicle. When we chose the vehicle. We were told we could not take it home due to it was recommended for back brake replacement. Why would you list the car on the your website if it wasn't ready to be sold and taken off the lot the when the customer wants to buy it? The second car my son might have purchased was the same, wasn't ready to leave the lot. I find that to be not good business. Leo was also working with other customers so we did not feel like a valued customer. We ended up buying the car. Leo promised a full tank of gas and a red bull but that did not happen. We left on a little less than a quarter tank not enough to drive back to Richmond. My recommendation is to not list cars on the website if the are not sale ready to leave the lot. Team members should focus on one customer at a time.

Dealing with Ian in the body shop has restored my trust and alleviated a lot of stress. He's done a great job of managing my frustrations with some paint work that didn't go my way. They are honoring their warrant and Ian has definitely helped remedy the situation.
