WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!FRIENDLY FAKE! They say one thing to your face and tell you "give me 1 second" and leave and will do completely different.May be that's why a lot of people put positive reviews, cause they get friendly customer service but IF YOU CHECK your credit score after giving these people your information, you will see million inquires (without your consent), if you check and compare price documents that they showed before the sale and after, numbers will be different.DON'T FALL FOR GOOD WORDS, PRAISES, JOKES, LAUGHS and mainly "MANAGER DEAL OR TODAYS PROMOTION ONLY"BE CAUTIOUS WHEN IT COMES TO NUMBERS, YOUR INFORMATION AND TIME!!!In conclusion if you don't have enough stress in your life, just go to KOONS Toyota Tysons, Promise you, you will find it.

Why when I was there twice and spent over 1,000 on items that were so grossly marked up was the tire sensor not fixed when I specifically asked to do the things that were most important. Also the price for spark plus is insane. I took an uber, paid for uber and made two trips and now I still can't get the tire light to turn on and I driver to Winchester, Baltimore, and Clinton, MD from Virginia for my job. This place is incompetent and a rip off and the concierge service is a joke. Just don't.

We bought a used car for our college son OK with a 30 day warranty. Immediately, the touchscreen didn't work and my son had to drive back from college twice to have this repaired. Hello gas money! It was noted at the time of that repair that the coolant light came on. They added coolant, but clearly never investigated the cause. Adding coolant was a Band-Aid to a problem that they didn't take the time to diagnose. The coolant light comes on again. They now decide to diagnose the problem and want to charge us for a new water pump. I'm not sure how they think that's fair when they failed to take the time to diagnose the problem the first time it came on. Zero stars if I could KoonsAlso, good luck actually speaking with service. The "Customer Relations" middleman is there to block you

Top rate on-line services. Sales team responsive, informative and straight-forward during review and selection process. Sales associate (Eduard) absolutely outstanding through entire process. Without question, this part was one of the best car buying experience I've had in over 45 years of buying cars.Unfortunately, the experience with the processing associate was absolutely the worst car buying experience in 45 years of buying cars. He would not accept that we did not want to purchase their extended warranty. Despite repeatedly declining the coverage - politely at first, then firmly, and finally very firmly (at least a dozen times) - he continued to push the extended warranty, even refusing to move on with the purchase after we asked him to do so. It was so bad, we finally walked out of his office, returning only after he agreed to stop pushing the extended warranty. I have nothing but praise for the sales team, but would never buy from this dealership again simply to avoid the harassment to purchase the extended warranties.

Not long ago I brought in my car to their Service Department at the Koons Toyota Dealership at 8610 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA. to have it checked out but they did not perform the electronic diagnostic codes check for the car. Had they done so, they would have discovered the exhaust is not up to spec; backup light was inop, and the front right low-beam light was inop. They changed the oil and filter, and they stated they changed the cabin air filter but now I'm not sure if they actually did. Two months later, the "Requires Maintenance" light is now lit so I will have to confront their Service Department this weekend. I will update this review next week to report what they did/didn't do. What I learned so far: get the electronic codes checked at a separate location before you visit the dealership so you will know if they actually fix it or not.The next week: They fixed the two lights and turned off the "Requires Maintenance" light. They said the car would not start because there was a bad cell in the 12v battery (although we drove the car there with no problems), and said we would have to pay $324 for a special hybrid 12v battery. The total paid was $610 for the bulbs, battery and installation. Had I known this prior I would have had the Auto Trouble Codes read at an auto parts store, purchased the bulbs, ordered the battery and installed it all myself. My recommendation is to ask for the cost of labor and parts before hand, buy the stuff elsewhere and install the easy parts yourself (I had already replaced a reverse light for $5). This battery was not covered by the $4,000 extended warranty we purchased. I suggest not spending money on any extended warranty, and pay for the inevitable repairs as they come. You will save money on parts and service elsewhere, as well as not having to pay tax and interest on the extended warranty. Bad deal.Update on Extended Warranty: June 15, 2023The Service Department from the Koons Dealership called me twice, left a message, emailed me and mailed a card stating that my car was due for routine maintenance. I called back and asked if it was covered under my extended warranty. They said they would find out and call me back. Never got a call back. I guess they are not going to contact me about "routine maintenance" anymore? Lesson learned: Just mention "extended warranty" and they stop calling. Get the routine maintenance done at a local car service shop.

Run, do not walk, away from this horrific dealership. I have never been treated so badly as a customer in all my years purchasing cars. I would recommend that everyone find a vehicle elsewhere and buyers beware of salesman taking advantage of them. Here's what happened to me: In April 2023, I signed up to get on the waiting list for one of the newer hybrid model cars. I spoke with a salesman named Jason who procured a $1k deposit from me and told me my car would be here sometime in July. The MSRP of my car was told to be $32k, and with taxes it would come out to roughly $35k.Through the next few months, Jason would text me encouraging words about the sales he was making, and I'd respond with questions about my car. It was a little unusual for someone to be texting me like this, but I was excited about my vehicle coming in. In June of 2023, Jason contacted me and said my car would be coming in within 2-3 weeks. I excitedly made plans to go to the dealership with a family member. But when I contacted Jason a couple weeks later to go get the car, he retracted his statement and said it would be 3 more weeks. He blamed the chip shortage. Then someone from Koons called me out of the blue, not Jason, to tell me when my car would be arriving. When I asked Jason about it, he accused me of lying to him that Koons had contacted me. The whole exchange was very unusual, and it put me on edge. It seems the dealership doesn't communicate with their salesmen regularly. Finally, Jason reached out to tell me that the person who'd contacted me from Koons was Alex Armakan and that they'd be pricing my car for over 40% the MSRP I'd been told in April. When Alex called me, I asked him why it had been marked up so much and he said it was "coming from above." When I asked if there was anything I could do to lower the price down to what I'd originally been told, he said no. This is the first time I've ever been told they would not negotiate the price. At this point I'd been waiting for my new car for 4 months. Koons had wasted an enormous amount of my time and money. I then called other dealerships who were appalled at this behavior, but said they had heard things like this from Koons before. Apparently, in the Toyota world, Koons has a terrible reputation of lying about prices and overcharging their customers. I heard this from multiple dealers who told me they wished I'd looked up more reviews online. So now that's what I'm doing: Leaving an honest review about my terrible experience with Koons. Don't bother going here, I hope this review can save you time and money.
